First of all hello from mama from South Europe. I am reading this forum for few months already (so sorry for my english) and i found a lot of info. I have two girls age 4 and 2 and we would love third to be boy.
I tried to adjust diet and supplements to my country but i cant find ANY info about swaying (taboo).
I am using complex (there is 10 vitamins and 10minerals) which i find ok for my diet, 2500 folic acid, green tea and made changes in my diet and lifestyle, which was very girl friendly
I recently found omega3 supplement which has vit E and D3. I am not sure if i should take it becouse it has 12mg of vit E , and i am taking already 9mg E in complex of vitamins. That would be 21mg of vit E, isn't that much? I believe i can find just omega3, and keep taking my complex, what do you think?
Once again BIG hug from me, i guess you dont know how helpfull you all are

Vitamin E and some more questions

Hi and welcome!
Yes I prefer you stick with the lower amount of Vit. E if possible. Larger amounts of Vitamin E may not be beneficial. BUT, 12 mg of Vit. E is really not so much. If you can't find any other supplement you like, that one is still ok. Some people take 400-800 mg Vitamin E and that is WAY too much. 12 mg is a small amount and is probably ok, if you can't find any other option.!!! Thank you atomic for answer me.. I hope i did not misunderstood, you think i should stop taking that omega with 12mg vit E?
Sorry but i am confused, its 21mg a day (9mg in multivitamin and 12 in omega)
Multivitamin in my country always have about 12-15 amount of vit E. Its hard (inpossible) to find vitamins without E, but maybe i can find omega without vit E.
I read in many sites that adults can take about 15mg a day synthetic form of vit E, so that part is what im worried about.

If you can find an Omega without the extra Vit. E, please do.
If you can't, it's no big deal and you should take it anyway. It is not that high.
I'm sorry I knew my first answer was too confusing!!!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thank you atomic for your patience and answers, I am quite new in all this, I never in my life took vitamins not even folic acid in my two pregnancies, just iron in my 8 and9 month 2nd pregnancy.
I read that is not recomended too much synthetic vit E when ttc, also read about people who had way bigger amount but they have other health issues
Today will see in drugstores what can I find, probably omega without E, and continue multivit with 9mgE
Should I post my sway attempt?Last edited by Twogirls0607; July 14th, 2018 at 08:01 AM.

Yes I agree too much Vit. E is not good, but the amount you're taking (even with the other supplement) is not that high. Some people are taking 400-1000 mg Vit E and that is more than I like!
So if you can find the Omega without the Vit. E, that is great, if not, it is still going to be ok.
Yes please post your sway and I will go over it for you.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Hi from me again, hope someone will answer..
I changed my fish oil to another that does not have vitamin E. So im taking prenatal, actualy complex that have 10vit and 10 minerals. I take one large cup of green tea a day and one cup of coffee, folic acid about 2500-3000 mcg a day, and my cycle suddenly changed. Its already 16cd and no positive opk test. My last cycle was 30days long. Should i avoid something or add?

It's very likely the green tea. Let's leave that out for a while.
How much Vitamin B6 is in your vitamin?!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I thought of that but wasnt sure.. In my bbt chart last 2 cycles my o was 18-19 day which is unusual but cycles were longer so it seems ok. In multivitamin is 1.05mg of vit b6, it says is 75% of recomended daily intake (sorry for my english). So i just stop taking green tea tommorow?
