I thought Sylk is a lube (have already bought it) and Rephresh is used to keep ph low and healthy, but is not used for dtd.... now I read the opposite.... What exactly IS Rephresh? What is the general consent on this site, Sylk OR Rephresh, or both???

Sylk and Rephresh...

I belive you should use either one, and not both, because Rephresh is a reactive gel that will lower the ph of anything it comes into contact with to a nice 4.5 ph level. So if sylk is lower (a 4) it will react with the sylk anyway and keep your envirnment 4.5.
Some ladies have had luck concieving with rephresh, but I didn't. Be warned that it *may* increase your time TTC'ing, or it may not. Obviously every woman's body is different, and it may hinder the sperm enough to sway pink by lowering sperm count and making it harder for the sperm to surivive in the low ph, thus increasing chances for a girl conception.
I do believe some ladies have also taken Represh and a finger of sylk, but I'll let them chime in with their own experiences.
Hopefully some experts will join this thread and tell you their opinions

Actually we tested Sylk and Rephresh and found they worked well together. Did not cause any spike in pH at all.
RepHresh and lime juice, however, have not been tested together and MAY cause pH to spike.
Rephresh info and description of how it works is found in here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-...-rephresh.html
I like RepHresh and Sylk together becasue RepHresh works to keep pH low for up to three days after using and chemically reacts with everythng it contacts to bring pH down to 4.5-5. The other jellies combine with semen and CM, but the pH is an average of the two after combining. The reason I like Sylk with Rephresh is because Sylk is a better lube than the RepHresh is, and it's got a low pH and may have some benefit in addition to the RepHresh that we don't know of.
Aurora is right - not eveyrone has had success TTC using these jellies, so if you find you aren't getting pg, you might want to drop one or both of them after 1-3 months.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
