some have added vit C, so I'd check to see if yours has that
where in your cycle are you? around OV they might even help your sway because it might dry up CM

I was wondering the same thing but about something else... I have been taken Mucinex DM for the past 6days. It has Dextromethorphan HBr 30mg and Guaifensin 600mg. I took the same thing with the start of my last cycle as well because I was sick then too. I did stop about 4-5days before O.

Would it sway or even affect getting pregnant?

I am wondering because I am only taking prenatals, cranberry, zrytec and benidryl (since I have multiple allergies), soy for another 2 months (5 days only) until I run out.

If you are not TTC this month it's ok to take anything.

For pink swaying, you can take pseudoephedrine (Sudafed) altho be aware it has side effects and risks that may be made worse by the saw palmetto and baby aspirin http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-...echniques.html because this dries up mucus including CM.

Supps that help you thin out mucus (expectorants) like Mucinex, Robitussin, guanefesin, should be avoided by pink swayers.

Guanefesin makes it easier to conceive but does sway blue. If you stop if 4-5 days before O, it should be out of your system by O day, but if u were planning on trying sooner, it could potentially make your EWCM more boy friendly 3 DBO.

The prob. with what you're taking in terms of, you feeling better (not swaying, but for your cold) is that by taking Zyrtec/Benadryl and then guanefesin in addition, you're basically cancelling the benefits of the guanefesin anyway. Z/B dry up mucus, guan. makes you have more and thinner mucus. They do the exact opposite thing and aren't doing you any good if you take them together. If you have a lot of runny snot, then taking guan. will only make it worse and you should just stick with Z/B. If you are super congested and have thick mucus in sinus or chest, Z/B will make that worse and you should only take the guan to thin it out so your body can get rid of it.

I stopped mucinex and I am more then 5days from O... still taking Zrytec and Ben I only started them a few days ago and quit Muc about 2 days ago. The ben helps me to relax at night anyways and the cold is mostly gone with just a simple cough left.

I may have asked before but my brain has gone stupid... can I take Zry and Ben during the 2ww?

Personally, I would not take them until I get a BFP because I feel like the fertilized egg needs some fluids to move thru to impant in the uterus. If you are miserable tho, I think Benadryl is more proven than Z is.
