Hi ladies
I have swimming lessons once a week with my ds & I had a lesson today & was meant to use a diva/soft cup (have never used one before so a bit hesitant) but completely forgot. Does anyone know if the chlorine only affects your ph on the day you went swimming or does it raise it & keep it raised until you get it back down again with supps & diet?
Many thanks

I did check it out once, when swaying for my dd. I didnt check immiately after the pool, but hours later and my ph wasnt different at all!!! I think passing urine is enough to clean out the v after swimming. Oh and if you believe in ions, I think pools and its surroundings must be a girly ion heaven, right?? xxx

Just to clarify, urine doesn't pass thru the VJ, it comes out the front. Your VJ makes its own very acidic fluids (except at ovulation) that serve to help prevent disease organisms that thrive in higher pH, so it is true that higher pH anything quickly gets washed away by your body - just not by urine.
