Well...I had 60+days of good girl sway and diet...1 chemical and 1 early m/c...so on to this month....3 days into my cycle of CL, cranberry and supps, my heart starts going crazy...so off of everything. I have steered clear of red meat, potatoes and tomatoes (- some fresh matoes in an omelet) I have had sugars, trying to regulate my blood sugar again, and used Replens to help lower pH, I have maintained and tried to lower my weight more as well, BUT I am sure that if we conceive this month it will be a boy...don't know why..just convinced. The diet pushed my O date back 5 days and really screwed me up. I will add that I am now much flabbier thanks to LE and IG diets LOL. It's okay because I can switch it back one day. It's such a bust though that I went through everything I did and had to curtail my efforts. Diet is the most important part, and I had to stop it. I am eating as carefully as I can now that things are figured out, drinking lots of water and watching sugars. Looking back I cannot believe how long it has been since I ate red meat...usually a 3 times a week affair. Hence my boys. Oh...and no potassium, but I have been drinking Vitamin D milk to try and level off my K levels because that may have attributed to my palpitations. God knows my heart and truly I have set my mind and heart on boy. Just had to share...and will update my sway, as crumby as it is...when I get my BFP.

You need 2500-3500 mg of Potassium to live, I hope you weren't cutting out all potassium. Also, I was getting palpitations and it was because my iron was low and I was very anemic.
You don't have to sacrifice your LE diet to feel good- potassium is allowed. Also maybe you should get a blood test to rule out anemia just in case.
I hope you're feeling better soon!Mom to 3 wonderful boyswaiting for our

I was having some heart palpitations early on with the diet, too; by adding more fruits and veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, apples), that got sorted out ... and I will still definitely on the LE diet. So I wouldn't say it has to be an all or nothing thing at all.
But definitely get potassium -- our bodies need to have enough!2005

You MUST eat potassium or you can DIE. I think I've told you this before but just for the benefit of those who don't know...cutting out potassium or cutting back on it drastically risks DEATH. You need 2500-3500 mg potassium a day and that is the exact same amount on IGD, FGD, and LE Diet. You're not compromising anything by getting enough potassium, that's the right amount on any sway diet out there in existence.
I don't think the probl is the cran or the supps (altho who knows, anything is possible) but not enough potassium is a BIG prob. that does cause palpitations.
Anyway, remember, people conceive girls every day doing absolutely no sway tactics, so don't count yourself out!!!!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Good point about the anemia, I also was anemic recently and had palps but they were different than the sort of palps I get from potassium (I have a twitchy heart and I'm very sensitive to low potassium.) I wish I could describe it better!! When I get the low potassium palpitations, they're strong and very noticeable (almost like my heart is hyperactive) but when I had the anemia palpitations, I could barely feel them. My heart felt weak, like it couldn't keep up and I was very tired and my muscles felt weak.
