Does running and yoga sway more pink or blue?

Hello! I just am curious because when I sway, I know I have to have some sort of exercise. I honestly cannot give up exercising and keep my sanity be it for long periods of time (more than 6 weeks). Not to mention not wanting to lose the advances I"ve made in yoga and running. I did work out a lot with both my boys, however I did a lot of weights/p90x about 4 times a week in addition to cardio and yoga. I'm worried that if I do work out at all I'll have another boy or blame it on that if it happens. I do feel like diet is the main part of a sway, but I can't overlook the fact that most of the girl moms I personally know do not work out at all whether they be over or underweight.
So, I'm just wondering, would distance running (30+ mi/wk) and power yoga sway blue? I just feel like my testosterone raises with both of those workouts because I always push myself to run further and in yoga to try for advanced poses plus being power yoga it is a lot of lifting your own body weight.
I have seen MANY runners that have only girls, so I'm thinking maybe that's a safe workout? Am I wrong? I have total competitive boy mom mentality about everything though maybe that wouldn't be good for me.

    Thanks for reading!

I've not heard of power yoga - but generally cardio will sway pink as it will help with the weight loss/muscle loss and muscle-building will sway blue

BUT, Paula Radcliffe (the marathon runner) has a girl

I'd be curious to what Atomic is going to say about this.

I'd agree that just something like running would be good. Maybe a diff kind of yoga? Power yoga sounds like it builds muscle too much imo, though i'm not that familiar with it. I think calming or relaxing yoga could be OK maybe?

I know AS has said before that excerise has to be ALL or nothing, so can't be moderate. So if you were going to run, it'd have to be for 45-60 mins like 6 days a week. If I'm wrong, hopefully she'll set this thread straight.

You have to understand that it's not as simple as "cardio sways pink" and "yoga sways plaid" because it's NOT the exercise that sways, it's the effect that the exercise has on your body. It's really muscle loss that sways pink, building muscle sways blue, and also excessive exercise can have its own negative effect on fertility aside from muscle mass.

For pink, it's safest to either do LOTS of exercise or no exercise while losing weight on a low protein, lower cal and fat diet. For blue, it's safest to do moderate exercise with emphasis on building muscle mass, while gaining a small amount or holding steady on a higher protein, higher nutrient diet.

My standard recommendation is 60 min a day, 6-7 days a week for pink and 45 min 4-5 times a week for blue. But that is just a general recommendation and may be different for every individual. It doesn't mean at all that people who do different amounts of exercise can't conceive their DG - it's the losing muscle that matters, not any certain amount/type of exercise. A person can get a girl while overtraining with weights on a crash diet and women who do lots of cardio can def. still have boys if their diet supports muscle growth.

Running is a great workout for pink as long as you err on the side of more rather than moderate, and lose a bit of weight while eating lower protein at the same time. Power yoga does build muscle and even at its most intense, is moderate, and should be avoided for pink for most people.

The one exercise I really DO think should be avoided for pink is any kind of kickboxing/Taebo type of thing because your body may interpret the punching and kicking motions as actual fighting and raise T as a result. I have no evidence to support that, it's just a concern I have and better safe than sorry.

Sorry, I've been so busy lately! Hope I'm not too late as I'd really like some advice on two things in response... 1. My husband actually does kickboxing/MMA (jujitsu) as a professional fighter here, do you think that would ruin all my chances of a DD? He is the most intense/anger/testerone ridden person I/anybody who meets him has ever met, I just worry he has too much T to even give me a DD
    2. I think this was said on IG, that women who have very good cardio shouldn't do 60min 6-7 days a week because they won't get the level of exhaustion other women who don't have good cardio would. for women who have good cardio, it would be better to do nothing at all. I have to run for 1:45-2 hours to feel completely 100% exhausted as it seems the IG sway would need. Is that true on the LE sway?

1)Testosterone does not always work as predictably for men as you would think. Some guys with sky high testosterone actually have more DAUGHTERS because they have other things going on that lower sperm count. (guys on steroids) It seems to be the sperm count/quality that matters for guys and the testosterone is only a means to an end of having a lot of good quality sperm. Guys that exercise a lot often heat up their testicles and end up with lower sperm count regardless of their T levels.

A lot of guys at my husband's work are into MMA (so much so that they had to make a rule about it because a client visited and several of the guys were all beaten up with black eyes and stuff LOL) and they all have tons of girls. Someone posted about this on a different thread and it sounds like a lot of the pro MMA fighters have girls.

    Would he take licorice root???

2)As long as you're losing weight on a lower protein diet WHILE doing the cardio, that's what matters. It has NOTHING to do with "exhaustion", it is about growing vs. shrinking muscle mass and losing fat, and the effects that has on your hormones. Less muscle = lower testosterone, less fat = less estrogen. More exercise is always better for pink, but there is no need to go to extremes, esp. if you're already thin to begin with.

My only concern with people who are in great shape to begin with, again has nothing to do with "exhaustion" but that when you have a lot of muscle already, you're going to be better able to handle the exercise than someone who was less fit. But if you're losing weight and eating less protein, you rob your body of the resources it needs to build/maintain muscle and you WILL lose muscle mass over time.

I was a big exerciser/runner before I started to sway. I ended up stopping to sway, lost weight and a ton of muscle mass, (I think that is the weight I lost, just muscle!). I had to give in a little and ended up doing some cardio part of the time, just the eliptical for an hour 6-7 times a week. Then I stopped again because my weight felt too low. Anyways, my point is, I don't like the way my body looks now, especially since I'm gaining weight back now and am just mushy, but I am happy that I changed from being thin and toned to skinny and mushy in terms of the sway. Hopefully it pays off!

Thank you SO much for answering that for me. I know when my DH watches UFC they all have daughters or are about to. I think it's just me! I do eat a lot of protein from soy. He has said he would even do a diet so yes, he would take a pill.
Thanks again!! You know everything about this!
