You could increase the Vitex but you shouldn't take more than 320mg Saw P. I wouldn't do this in the hope that it'll delay O though as there's no predicting what it'll do! Some months mine was late, some mine was early - I'm afraid you just have to wait and see as it's not something you can plan!

mmh, I took vitex and it made absolutely NO difference to my o day whatsoever.....I really think the only thing you could take to reliably postpone o and still sway girl is using progesterone, but that would be super invasive and you might stop o'ing altogether.

Vitex did tend to delay my O and then the month I stopped taking it, I Oed a few days earlier than I expected. But none of these things are 100% and will effect everyone differently.

    Hi,

I started taking Vitex about a month ago, (halfway through my last cycle). I normally O around CD 15 or CD 16 (rarely any earlier, but occasionally CD 14). This month, I got a +OPK on CD12 and pretty sure I O'd on CD13 so I'm assuming it was the Vitex that actually made me O a bit earlier, not delay it. I never expected it to do that!!

It can make you O early OR late - that's why it can be a maddening supp to take! But I really, really do believe that both Vitex and SP do sway pink and are worth the risk. In fact, it may be that by making regular cycles unpredictable, that actually could be how it sways somehow.

Vitex never fails to make my cycles weird and usually ovulating 3 days early. I have to be on Vitex for months before things start to stop being so weird. I would not take it one cycle hoping it will delay ovulation. You may have to take it for a while to see how your body reacts.

SP has not seemed to change my cycles, but has made my periods lighter.
