    Advice please?????

    Hi,
I have been tracking my temps for about three months and I figured I would ttc in September or October but now I dont know what to do. I had everything planned out based on prior months ovulation ( I know that never works when your swaying girl with herbs ect) and it looked like my September ovulatiob would fall perfectly for a Gemini or June baby and now it won't. I started the LE diet about two weeks ago and I am only tryIng to lose a pound or two since my bmi Is a 17 and I can't afford to lose anymore. I started vitex three mOnths ago and pepp tea last cycle Snd nothing else. If I were to try for my next estimated ovulation and we conceived I would have only been on the diet a little over six weeks. Is this good enough? I guess my big issue is that I wanted to be on the diet longer so a later try would be better but than its possible I would getting a July or cancer baby( my husband does not want that, he's a cancer sign and he says that they clash with other cancer signs. I guess I need advice on give it go with my next ovulation( chances are I won't get pregnant) and let god take it from there or wait until late October ovulation for my first attempt? Wow I guess I am a typical boy mom! I am thinking just give it go both in late august and late September, especially since I am only going to
do one attempt With abstinence with all other things like zyrtec, LE diet, repfresh, herbs, ect. Thanks for any advice!

I've only been on the diet for a week. I'm on cd 9. Not sure when I will o but my initial start date was Oct or Nov. I've decided to try as soon as I o. I'm taking Vitex and will take zyrtec. I'm doing 1 attempt at + opk. I just turned 37. It may take a bit to get pregnant with just one attempt. If I were you, I'd go for it. You've been on the diet longer than I have. It may take till Sept or Oct to get pregnant and you may need to tweek your sway. I'd give it a shot...

If you have a BMI of 17, 6 weeks on diet is PLENTY. In fact I think you should reconsider trying SOONER, not later.

I used to worry a lot about my kids' signs too and it has never once worked out for me. I didn't want any fire signs and I got 4 (one is right on the cusp). I didn't want an Aries or a Leo and I got both! It's like I just couldn't ever get pg in the months I wanted to and had to let go of the astrology side or no baby!

I am planning on dtd on day of positive opk as well. This month I am using the cbfm and I got my peak today and I believe I'm ovulating right now so it seems that I ovulate on the same day as + opk. I guess I will plan on dtd next month and see what happens. Its funny I thought I had more time and now Im nervous since I know my attempt is so close! I can't dtd today since I am not getting my iud out until sometime next month( its a copper iud). Are you nervous about your attempt coming up? I wish you the best of luck! Oh and I see you have one dd, was that a sway or just luck?

Atomic your right, I guess I just wasnt ready to start ovulating earlier like this but I guess next month could be completely different. I will go ahead with attempt next month and not worry about my child's sign. I was just hoping to be on the diet a little longer since it seems longer could possibly be better especially if I try and maintain my weight rather than lose.
I am not sure if my bmi will play a factor in swaying for me since I conceived both ds at this bmi , give or take a few pounds. I am hoping that the lack of snacking and nutritious food will help my sway. Thanks for the advice!
Oh and one more question, could I start saw palmetto right after ovulation( tomorrow) and continue until the next ovulation since I have my iud in still and not pregnant?

I'm more worried that your low BMI could make you stop ovulating if you lose any more weight. Even if you've ovulated normally in the past, unfortunately that doesn't always mean you're good to go in the future - the body is a funny thing.

Since there's no way you can be pregnant, you can start the SP now and take until 1-2 days before when you expect to O. Be aware that you may delay O a few days if you do that, though.
