    Vitex changing cycle?

I asked this q on the end of another thread, but then I remembered that we're supposed to start new threads for extra questions.. Hehe

Anyway.. My cycle has gone from longer and irregular (32-39 days) to shorter and slightly more regular (26-28 days) with only taking vitex from CD1-13. This month I ovulated between cd11/12, despite still taking vitex on those days.

My question is, if the vitex is changing my cycle this much already, is that a good indicator of it swaying pink for me?

Vitex changed my cycle right away, I'd have to go back through my first journey with it, but.. I remember that my + OPK moved up many days sooner than what it had been for months prior to that.
It's just different for everyone. I only took it both times (both pregnancies) for 2 weeks and it was very effective for me, even after my loss.

It has changed my cycles too by making them shorter. when I conceived my boys my cycles were 30-32 days long. now they are about 28-29 days long

Well I know you've got your lil girl now butterfly.. So do you reckon it sways pink when it changes things so much? And if you go off it, how quickly do your cycles change back?

Yes, I believe the changes occured from the supplements (also the ones DH took), ions, and lubes are what made my system "girl friendly". I didn't have a chance to go off of it so I can't answer your Q.

Duh Me.. you've been very insightful, thank you. I actually am not doing the diet yet, (at least not properly - I start officially on October 1st!) but I've noticed a dramatic decrease in cm around ov too.. As in, I honestly wouldn't know if it weren't for my ovacue... I used to know for sure roughly when ovulation was happening, but now I wouldn't notice if I wasn't really checking... This *has* to be good right?

At the time I found GD I ran into the old school way to sway, on a site I can't remember.. and it included Calcium, Magnesium, B-50 complex AND B6
It felt right to me, so I did it..just the B-50 part though, not the separate B6

I think you should keep going with Vitex for sure, it sounds like it's working as far as changing your cycle.

I took vitex all cycle for a few months prior to TTC. It really messed up my clockwork cycles and kept shifting my O date around making it hard to pinpoint. I had also started including Vit B6 as I was getting some early spotting (usually around 9DPO) and my naturopath said it could help. (She knew I was TTC a girl and had already suggested the vitex). It is hard to know what 'worked' of course, but these things can't hurt a girl sway IMO.
