Dr. Potter,
I had posted to you a couple months ago about having the Ovidrel trigger shot and breastfeeding with an otherwise natural IUI cycle. No clomid, etc.
Instead of Ovidrel they are giving me a Chorionic Gonado. (HCG) 10K trigger shot. Is that okay with nursing??? I am not taking any other meds.
Thank you!

It should be. hCG is too big a molecule to get into the breast milk. Ovidrel is a recombinant product manufactured whereas the preparation you are using is likely extracted from pregnant women's urine. Both work fine. Some have more pain with the urine preparation due to reaction from urinary proteins some it is sometimes given intramuscular rather than subcutaneous.
