    skipping breakfast vs. exercise

I have another question... How are you girls managing to skip breakfast and decrease so much your calorie intake and still exercise 1 hour 6 days/week?

I used to run 4 days a week (on mornings), but since I began the LE diet I'm feeling so weak...
I haven't been running for the past 2 weeks. It makes me sad.
(And to make matters worse, yesterday I found out that I have PCOS)

    Do you have any tips?
    Any hungry runners around?

I was a runner as well but gave it up because it was keeping my bodyfat so low it was stopping my ovulation. I'm doing aerobics/step dvd's now instead. I usually work out late morning before lunch, and all I have is a few cups of coffee beforehand.

Yeah it's hard especially in the first week, but I did find after the first 4-5 days my body's used to not having any fuel before working out now. There's a theory out there anyways that working out on an empty stomache forces your body to burn its own fat reserves instead of carbs/glycogen. Dunno about that, but I figured longer with low blood sugar exaggerated by exercise would be very pink! I don't think I could eat brekky again if I wanted to now.

I actually stopped all exercise and became a couch potato! I had a very strict diet but for me I think lack of exercise was important.

If skiping breakfast doesn't work for you, that's ok. You can skip another meal or NO meal and just stop snacking between meals. It's just something that may help, not a magic pink bullet in any way!!

If you have PCOS, I strongly recommend keeping your exercise and dropping the skipping breakfast if that's what you neeed to do - the exercise is extremely important if you have PCOS. Go ahead and eat a little smackerel of something and then go for your run...the benefits for your PCOS are substantial and PCOS tends to sway blue, so we need to get that under control for yoru sway to succeed anyway.
