Been to the doctors today and I'm booked in for my first appointment RE TTC on the 17th december. They will decide whether I can get Clomid straight away, which means TTC in january (eep!) or if I need more tests. Feels really close now and sort of scary - nearly chickened out earlier as I saw this mum frantically chasing around her 16 months BG twins around the waiting room.
AND since starting living after the LE nutshell version I've lost an amazing SIX!!! lbs in ONE month. That would've been impossible before :O
On a more negative note, does any one know a great way to get rid of glue ear, which I apparently have!

Woooohooo! So exciting to get started!
Pah, 16 months is easy. You want to shut off your biological clock, please come visit my house at bedtime with an emo 8 year old, a wailing oversensitive 6 year old, and a 3yo who's just getting into 'I do it MYSELF!' phase.

What's glue ear?
If you mean clogged/waterlogged, you can try an eye dropper and some olive oil, and let it soak for about half an hour, then tip it the other way to drain and hopefully soften the wax and drain out. If that doesn't work then you'll have to go to the dr/nurse and have it flushed out. I have to do that periodically.Me (38) and DH (38)

Well apparently, my middle ear is filled with fluid and can't get rid of pressure. So I'm currently more or less deaf ( I could get used to it..!). But it hurts =/
I just imagined the horror of a 6 year old, a 4 year old and TWO 16 month olds.. eeeeek! (see me fleeing down the streets!?)
Her twins were GIANT too (her words, not mine). She was admiring my 2 year olds golden locks (he does have an amazing wig if I do say so myself) and complaining over her twins lack of hair. And we got talking - she thought my 2 year old was same age as hers - but much more advance and I was like... eh no.. he's just tiny! (mind, he still fits size 12 - 18 months perfectly). She said hers were born huge too and comparing both of hers were bigger than my two year old at birth :O Must've been heavy >_<2005

Hmm, sounds like you'd better get that ear checked out!! It could be a middle ear infection. You don't want to lose your hearing!
Ach, I cannot imagine having twins with a toddler underfoot too. You might as well kill me now, lol. I have really tiny kids too - my 6 year old still has tshirts in 3T in his drawer. OMG!!
I used to have a neighbor at our old house that had really SOLIDLY built kids. Not fat, but heavy! Her kid didn't look abnormally huge but was like 45lbs by age 2. Holy crapola! My 3yo now barely cracks 24lbs on a good day and still fits in some 12month stuff. :P
Funny enough, I always thought my kids would be the runts of the class when they went to school, but not so at all. Weird. Apparently kids around the town I live in come in size extra small only, LMAO.
Not that I'm complaining, my back is definitely grateful for having tiny rugrats!Me (38) and DH (38)

The doc checked it out today - should clear up on its own when my cold goes, if not its antibiotics for me. Hopefully I will wake up tomorrow and it will have miraculously disappeared!
I bought a size 12-18 month dungaree set for my 2 yr old and it looks like he's gonna drown in it! He weights about 26 lbs, but is SO tiny in height! My oldest is even smaller and as skinny as a runner bean! Hopefully it will pick up or they'll be the tiniest boys at college :O
My friend has a boy 6 months older than my youngest and his shoe size is the same as my eldest O_O I'm not sure whether I got abnormally small kids or everyone else is giving birth to giants!2005

LOL hey it's cheaper to have small kids, for clothes at least! Though mine seem to be growing out of their pants again. At least their feet haven't grown this year.
My firstborn was really annoying, size wise. He was PUNY, underweight at birth, and only 5th percentile for like 2 years. Yet he outgrew everything ahead of schedule including his bucket seat because of his weirdly long torso. Nothing more aggravating than having a tiny stringbean of a kid that grows out everything shoulder to crotch, especially in infancy since there's nothing worse than 2 piece outfits on an infant. :P But one piece ones just got outgrown too fast!
Glad your ear is on the mend. That clogged feeling might be from inflamed sinuses too, I know when my sinuses are acting up I can definitely feel it in my ears. Hope it goes away soon!!Me (38) and DH (38)

Good luck! For the ear, I used to get clogs from swimming all the time (is it the same as swimmer's ear?). A couple of drops of hydrogen peroxide, then lie down and let it bubble for 10 minutes...worth a shot!

You can try ear candling too.... You can get them at GNC, Whole Foods among other places. It "warms" the wax and pulls it out.
