So, these are not great nub shots...clearly. I'm super bummed. In any case, the tech did tell me that the big "thing" down there was the head of the femur, and the nub is oh-so-faintly visible beneath it. I enlarged the shot below, but it's really a blurry mess. Any guesses? HA! I did see the nub clearly at several times during the scan; at first it looked totally parallel to the spine, but then the baby turned, and it looked a little more angled. But who knows?
I'm so happy my baby was healthy and active, though. Long wait for the 20w scan!!
