    meant to be?

am I over thinking/ over hoping this haha!! ok so I thought I'd go for an old wives tale I'd read about on here, about putting a girls outfit under the bed..

I'd been all over town and couldnt find anything I liked.. well, this was the first outfit I was going to buy for my little girl right?!! It had to be perfect!!

On my way home I stopped in at the supermarket for LE friendly veggies, and some RePHresh type stuff, just so I had some when we start trying in a few months..

walked past the baby clothes section, and my heart stopped!! the row of little pink dresses all had "Millie" embroidered on, with a picture of a rose next to the name! (apparantly asda have their own brand called millie and max.. millie pink/girls, max blue/boys, iI didnt know that!!!)

Now, the reason my heart stopped was that we have (maybe possibly, almost definately) come up with a name, and have had that name in our heads for months now.. Matilda Rose!!

(Millie for short!!) and with the little rose next to it and everything?!! there was no way I was leaving without a dress!! it is now safely under our bed!

lovely experience today although I fear that it may have set the name in stone for us haha!! no, we'll keep our minds open in case any other names spring up that we like!!

please everyone keep their fingers crossed for me! we'd love our little girl to join us soon!

sooo.. has anyone else had a nice coincidence like this happen? Let's share some hope!

That's such a nice story!! Very cool! I think it's a sign I totally believe in that.

We have had a couple weird coincidences. We picked the name Aubree far far before even deciding when wed TRY for a baby. Since we got pregnant, we told my dad the name we picked (crossing fingers baby is a girl of course lol) and he told me my grandfathers middle name was actually Aubrey! Back in the 1900s it was a boy name I guess, but my grandfather passed when I was younger and I was actually REALLY close to him but I had no idea about his middle name so that was freaky lol
Then shortly after we found out we were pregnant as well we were driving up north for my cousins wedding and this BIG bridge we had to pass was coming up, we were talking about Aubree only too look to our right and see a sign, the bridge was a memorial bridge for an Aubree! We were both at a loss for words lol hopefully we find out soon that this is Aubree cool stories!

Our family is now complete - no more babies for us. We didn't get our girl but I wouldn't trade my boys for the world, so in love.

ooh that is such a cute story

my story is not that coincidental, but the only sign I had was last year when swaying, I realized I'd be ovulating on Christmas Day and I could just imagine that--my baby girl, at long last, being made on such a special day--my present, as it were. It was all true too--it was confirmed I did O on that day, and she is a sweet little girl.

    Good luck hun
