    How to read OPKs

So today is the first day I've got a ridiculously faint, can hardly see it unless squinting pink line on the OPK.

But on the packet, it says it has to be the same / darker than the control line to count as a 'positive' OPK.

So am I right in thinking ovulation happens 24 - 36 hours AFTER I get the dark pink line (i.e. ignore the faint one now, as it'll probably be darker tomorrow?)

    Thanks

You are correct, they will get progressivly darker and once it is as dark as the control line that is when you will ovulate

Yep, unless it's as dark or darker, it's neg. Don't start counting hours till you've had an actual pos.

I just wanted to include a picture so you know what you are looking for..
See how they get progressively darker.. the bottom one is clearly darker than the control line, and that's your + OPK!

For me, when I took opks I'd take 2-3 a day (like every 4 hrs) where this person only took 1 a day. You have to be careful you don't miss your surge, because that is possible too!

Those are cheapies off the internet..Wondfo brand.
Maybe some UK ladies could chime in on where they get theirs.

You probably could find some on ebay?
