I'm not sure about the Harmony one - but there is one called Verifi that you have at 10wks. It costs $595, not claimable on medicare. Your Dr has to order it for you and also order the extra 'sex chromosome conditions' to be tested, that is how you find out the gender. It is a test for trisomies 21, 18 and 13. It is recommended to mothers who are older/if your ultrasounds show concern for fetal growth/you have family history of chromosomal conditions etc. but my FS here said she would order it for me if I wanted.
I am not in Qld, so it may be called something different there too.
    Good luck with your search

I recently read Genea do the test now and it is not sent overseas. It's all tested here. Maybe call them to see if anyone can use the service.

    Harmony tests in Aus?

I used the Verifi test and it was sent to the USA and cost $595, it's same as Harmony and was offered to me by my OB, but I was after genetic testing due to age primarily.

Just just saw this article (it is a few weeks old)
Prenatal screening advances with non-invasive blood test now available in Australia - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

This is the place that provides it Victorian Clinical Genetics Services (VCGS)

All the collection points are in Victoria so I'm not sure how you access it interstate. It also doesn't say the cost but the article suggests it should be cheaper than sending it to the US as was previously done.

    Thank you [emoji5]️

The form says $589, but you might get your results quicker there since there not sending it OS.

I just found that the Harmony test is now $430 through Healthscope, I'm not sure if you have to pay extra to find out gender though?

Healthscope Pathology :: Harmony Prenatal Test (NIPT)

Looks like the price of the one I linked to above last month has dropped their price too. It is now $489
    Victorian Clinical Genetics Services (VCGS)

Results are faster than the harmony one too.
