    Rating System for Embies used at HRC

    Can you explain the ratings that the embies are given at HRC? What's the "best" rating and so forth....Also does it make a difference in the pregnancy rate? Better rated emby = BFP in most cases?

    Bump, I'd like to know the answer to this too, especially because I have 6 GSN girls, all different grades, on ice.

    I had 6 embies make it through PGD. 5 were blasts and were graded B/C, the other was a morula and it did not get it a letter grade.

    We use a system for day three embryos that is:
    4=0% fragments
    3=<10% fragments
    2=10-20% fragments
    1= >20% fragments
    For blasts
    The grading of blastocysts is complicated. It involved examining the inner cell mass and trophectoderm and grading them with a letter grade.
    A=best
    D=worst
    I hope that this helps
