I am on CD20 now and I have the crampy feeling like I am getting ready to start. That's way too short. If I do start this weekend, I am calling my doctor so I can get some answers. I don't know. I've been reading online and am wondering since I am 39 if maybe my cycles are starting to get all wacked. I think I am going to stop the diet and just try to get pregnant...

According to FF cd13. There was no AF this morning...yet, so today is 8dpo, which would be too short. If it did fertilize, it wouldn't have a shot at implanting before this stupid cycle starts all over again. Plus, with DH's agreement to TTC again, it waas just til my 40th birthday, which is the beginning of May. So if I go to the doctor in January and she sees something that's causing me to have shortened cycles, I am afraid that I won't have enough time for anything she gives me to kick in for our "May cutoff".

Sorry for the delay... Still no AF...yet. I tested this morning at it was negative.
Sometimes I start to feel a little, bit crampy and think I am going to start, then later I don't feel like I am anywhere near starting. I don't know what to think. I am 12dpo now, so I'd assume that I would have a positive by now if I were pregnant, but I know sometimes it comes a little later. My temp started to drop today too, but not below the coverline yet. I am guessing I will be starting tonight or tomorrow.

my3sons, I am the same age. Just a question, have you been charting? Do you know what your cycle length has been for the past 3 or 4 cycles?
If it's any help, I am a typical girl diet eater (i.e. not much) and I noticed my cycles over the last 18 months drop from 29 days (for 20 years) down to 26 days. I assumed I was peri-menopausal and that it would be difficult to conceive.
I started the boy diet and my cycles immediately lengthened and period shortened. I conceived first try and believe it was the diet that just got everything into balance. Don't give up, it will happen but you might have to tweak a few things to get it right for you. Good luck.

Ironically enough, I am now on CD26, which is on the longer side for me now, but still no BFP. They were running 23 - 25 days prior. I am feeling crampy here and there and thinking I am going to start, then nothing. I'm sure I'll start by tomorrow though.
