Should I discontinue drinking ACV? I generally have 2 tablespoons three times a day. I try to drink it right before or after eating. Is it helpful at all or is it just lowering my blood sugar?

ACV?

How gross is it to you??
I tried to explain this a bit in the other thread, but if you're doing HE Diet then it's really unlikely that a little ACV can undo it. The whole deal with the HE Diet is that the foods and eating patterns are meant to keep your blood sugar up and I just don't believe that the ACV is enough to counteract that.
Now, for the people who are doing an IG boy diet and are having rice krispies with nondairy creamer for breakfast, ramen, bacon, and an iceberg lettuce salad for lunch, banana for a snack, and McDonalds for dinner, then the ACV could be a disaster because those foods and eating pattern are going to shoot your blood sugar up and then drop it like a rock afterwards and the ACV will only exacerbate that. We can't just view these foods and supps in isolation, they're a part of the big picture and we need to view them thru the lens of the overall diet.
I think the heavy hitters in the boy beverages (in no particular order) are the coconut water, wheatgrass juice, green tea and to a lesser extent black tea, potassium drink/V8, fruit juice/juice with brewers yeast/gelatin juice, full fat dairy, and the lemon water. You get a lot of bang for your buck with them and for the most part they're palatable and easy on the stomach (except the wheatgrass juice which is VILE). The ACV - you just don't NEED it and you're probably alredy drinking 7000 other things that do the same thing the ACV supposedly does, it really offers nothing in the way of nutrients or hydration (to make CM), I think it's hard on the gut, tastes like sh--, and it really isn't offering any sort of magic benefit whatsoever and if your diet isn't ideal it could actually be harming your sway.
That was a long winded way of saying, if you like it and your diet is good, continue; if you hate it and are so bloated from eating/drinking all day and want to drop something that is 99.99% probably not even doing anything for you anyway, drop it.!!! Thanks for the info! I think I'll stop just because I am drinking many other drinks and don't want to risk it. Can I ask why coconut water is so good? I saw you me ruined it on another post but can't seem to find it anymore. I know it provides potassium but are there other benefits? I've been forcing myself to choke down 8 oz a day. It's not my favorite, haha.

??? I think we have a spellcheck issue LOL
It's just a really good source of potassium for very few calories. I don't want people taking the potassium supplements and drinking COT and ASG that they used to do on Ingender for potassium, I don't think it is safe AT ALL, and the coco water allows people to get potassium from diet which is safe.!!! Oh haha sorry I'm on my phone and at lunch so I didn't read before I sent. You understood my question though, thanks. I knew you had mentioned it on a previous post but I couldn't find it. If I am getting a lot of potassium from food and drinks do I need to do asg? The only drinks I've been doing are green tea, lemon water, coconut water (8 oz a day), and a protein shake. I'd like to add more if necessary but don't want to OD on potassium. If I add geletin, is that just regular jello geletin?

I think Atomic is saying just stick to the coconut water (if you can afford it, lol), drop the other drinks. If you want to do gelatin get the little packets, they're in the baking section of the grocery store, the most popular brand is Knox Gelatin Powder.

Okay thanks. I'm sorry I reread the posts and it was more clear. Checking the posts on my lunch hour and on my phone is not a good idea. I hear so many drinks, it's hard to know what to do. I will take note of the heavy hitters that atomic mentioned.

No and I DON'T WANT you to do ASG if I could possibly talk you out of it. In the Dream Members section there is a pretty thorough thread with tips on how to get all the potassium you could ever want via diet and not supps.
The problem is not only can you OD on potassium, but that your body will start excreting as much potassium as it possibly can because you're ingesting so much. Then, because ASG/COT are not safe after ovulation, people stop taking it suddenly and their body keeps excreting potassium very rapidly and you can end up without enough potassium, and that can kill you faster than too much potassium can.
Potassium from foods and normal drinks like fruit juice is fine. Your body can handle that. My concern is the "fake" forms of potassium, the supplements, the ASG, COT, and Ural.
