    Is this OPK + ????

Okay... you'd think I'd know by now being on month 4 and taking a million of these things but I normally O late (CD19-21) and have been doing Lunaception hoping it'll help regulate stuff just for fun, well it's CD14 and these were my test this morning..

*The top test is the brand I used last month which worked great as was accurate based on my temps

*The bottom test is one of the new ones I just got because they didn't have my old brand available on ebay and have yet to show a second line. ALL other brands in previous months (clearblue, first response, Artron) ALWAYS show a light line from CD12 on..

Thoughts? Is this actually positive.. or almost positive? Should I assume the bottom brand doesn't work well for me?

That's not a +OPK - I'm not even sure the top one is +. There ARE differences in OPKs, some can detect LH at lower levels, but it doesn't really matter, the only + is when the test line is darker than the control line.

I have had about 4 +OPKs in my life. It drives me crazy. I got one last cycle, but not this cycle - so frustrating but it's all we've got

I felt like it was almost positive but not fully. What I found weird is the difference between the two. I always have a line at this stage, so I don't think I'll use the bottom ones anyone. I have gotten a +OPK every month, it's just normally later! Looks like I'm off to buy some FR ones

I don't think it's pos but I do think it will be soon. I am having the exact same issue changing brands on eBay. This months aren't as dark, but they still show a second line so I assume they will still go pos, maybe just not as quick or not for as long.

    Keep us posted.

it ended up going pos late last night so I'm happy to know the brand actually works. If it's accurate.. I may actually have a day or two added to my LP which is great news seeing as it's normally 9days!

    Not positive in the picture.

Best thing I've found with opks is to take from cd10 onwards. Every day I do one at 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 10pm until it goes positive, then continue until it goes negative again. That way you can also tell how long your surge was. Costs me approx 60p each month and I never miss it. I often have really short surges, so if I tested once a day I would miss it.
