    Which vegetables can we eat?

    Hi everyone.
I am really trying to eat the right things. I now manage to skip breakfast and for lunch I have been having noodles with chicken and vegetables. I have also made soup with vegetables (to cut back on protein) and homemade (IG) bread with unsalted butter. Fruitsalad is also an option...
But which vegetables are good? I started of with two weeks on the IG diet and therefore know, that leeks, green beans and mushrooms are ok. But I would really like a choice. I know that we should choose low nutrient vegetables, but which are they?
Really hoping for a lot of good ideas

I think that you can eat pretty much anything as long as you track calories with the high cal, high protein ones. Atomic will tell you that there are no magic foods so eating an orange will not wreck your sway and is better than chewing down on a lasagne

There are other things to consider like if they increase testosterone (onions, asparagus and garlic) and whether eating them means you can eat less of other things (eg I eat tomatoes as this means low low cal pasta sauce even though they are high ish in nutrients).

This is what I am eating- iceberg, peeled courgettes, peeled aubergines, peeled cucumbers, mushrooms, green beans - all pretty LE also toms, small amount of basil and rocket as this helps me stick to low cal meals such as salad wraps

Fruit - strawberries, white grapes, peeled apples

Trying to avoid spinach, avocado, sweet corn, peas, squash as high in nutrients or protein and fat.

    Hope this helps

No, of course you should eat them and enjoy them - just not make them one of your main foods. I had some in a restaurant the other day - it was that or pizza!

As a part of your sway plan, you get access to the le diet book, did you not find it???

All veg are allowed. Low carb veg are free, you can have as much as you want. Fruit and high carb veg you only count calories. High protein veg like beans and peas, count calories and protein.

Re low vs high nutrients, if you have a choice between them, choose the low nutrients veg. But you can still have high nutrients veg, they're still allowed. You would have to eat a mountain of broccoli to get the same nutrients that is in a hamburger.

No, I can't find it. There was a link to my swaying plan in the mail... The lay-out on US websites is so different to what we're used to. I feel a bit daft, but I am finding it hard to navigate... ;o)
