    Ovulating this week...opinions needed please

    Alright girls need your opinions/experience to help me make a decision.

    I am hopefully ovulating sometime this week..as I am starting to have thinning and abundant cm and that for me is my sign that ovulation is nearing. I have started a loose/sensible HE diet. I am eating/snacking more, as I usually only eat 2 meals a day (lunch and dinner) and usually no snacks. I have cut out as much aspartame (sp) out of my diet as I can by stopping the use of splenda and diet cokes and have gone to using green tea and truvia and sparkling water with no additives. i have also switched to greek yogurt from the low cal yoplait yogurt. I have also been taking extra folic acid, fish oil, and a multivitamin. My main meals already contained meat and are hearty meals and husband is a picky eater so i have not messed with what he likes to eat for dinner. I havent asked him to sway except to cut out diet soda as well and take a multivitamin and limit his nicotine by using a patch to wean him down (he is a smokeless tobacco user trying to quit but it is very hard to do so but he does keep trying). Neither of us drink alchohol regularly just socially about once a month. I do not smoke. My cm ph has been starting to increase since starting my loose diet sway (YAY) and I have never experienced that as it usually always stays acidic even at ovulation. We are bd every other day starting this week as his work and my work have actually prevented us from doing so last week.

    What I want to know is when i pinpoint ov with +opk and start dtd to conceive should I go for just straight preseed or mix it with a pinch of baking soda? I have done just straight bsf for 4+ months with no bfp, so I am dropping that approach. I also have 2 dds conceived from using only preseed on first try. I WANT a boy and I am not quite sure what path I should take as far as using preseed or a mix. i am getting impatient with my bfns but at the same time I want the best shot at a boy. I would like to add I have been doing the loose diet for 2 weeks and I know the recommended wait time is at least 6 weeks, but I am seeing results in the ph of my cm already and that it never changes for me.

    Ladies, what do you think might be the best approach, or what are your experiences and recommendations?

    I personally strongly urge you to drop the BS and go with just Preseed. I think baking soda prevents pg (I know we discussed this on another thread previously) and we've seen excellent results with just Preseed + LE Diet.
