Hi everyone,
I am newly pregnant, approximately between 4-6 weeks...I haven't even had a dating scan yet! But I am already freaking out that the baby is the wrong gender. I have two awesome daughters but I desperately want a son. I have swayed boy and I am praying that it has worked.
I have had drastic thoughts such as aborting the baby if it is the wrong sex...please believe me that I wouldn't do it and I was horrified that I had the thoughts in the first place.
I have also called two psychics who have told me at I am having a son. The weight off my shoulders felt amazing but obviously you cannot believe everything you hear.
I will definitely find out the sex of this baby to give me time to come to terms with it if it is a girl. I had gender disappointment with my second daughter but I feel so much more pressure this time as I believe this will be my last child.
The 20 week scan is so far away...
I just needed to get this off my chest.
Thanks for listening to my crazy rambling.

Sending virtual hugs. I know that place .... hoping you find some peace in this limbo time. And ramble away ... it's a nice safe space I think. xx

GD is hard. Swaying isn't a guarantee but you did all you could to help your odds. Hopefully, you get your son but if not, it will be okay. Lots of us have been there and you will get through this.

Thanks everyone, I am feeling better today. It is bit like a seesaw. Sometimes I think how awesome it would be to have three little girls but other times I dread it.

ITs not crazy rambling but the true feelings of a woman with GD. Oh how so many of us relate!
I am still trying to get pregnant but I know once I do I'll have my seesaw days like you where one day I am fine with a 4th girl and the other days I have crazy thoughts running through my head!
Hang in there, stay busy, busy is always better when you are in the waiting game!
I found a u/s place around here that says they can determine gender at 15 weeks so you can bet I'll be on the phone making an appointment the minute I can!! I will need to know as well because I will need time to cope either way.
I hope the next few months fly by for you!!!

i felt exactly the same when i was newly pregnant, there is nothing like GD and preggie hormones to mess with your head; it felt like as soon as i was pregnant i had lost my chance at ever having a daughter. I have always always been so anti abortion i felt so horrified with myself when it crossed my mind (only fleetingly but all the same).
In the end i decided to find out early on so i had the choice - i knew i would never have taken it but it made me feel to better to know if this was going to be little boy no4 that i had chosen to keep him (rather than being 20 weeks and feeling like i was trapped), probably sounds really daft but it made me feel more in control of my life and my feelings. I also think finding out early on does limit GD as you have less time to convince yourself that it may happen
Good luck, i really hope you get your little guy, and it helps any, am sending the biggest load of boy dust your way (we have three so its pretty powerful!)

I just called random ones out of the back of magazines. I can't put too much faith in it but gee I felt relief when they said boy. I will be shattered if my baby is a girl

I asked two psychics online, they both said boy.. the one ruby took her boy back after I questioned her and said everyone makes mistakes and she's only human.. she said if ring test says girl its a girl.. well sure enough it said girl.. I really hope she's right!
