I just had my trigger shot. saturday at 10:30. The last bd was Thursday night around 8. I was planning on bd once at trigger, but found at that my husband released last night at midnight. This would be good for girl, but horrible for conception, and i just want to get pg at this point witht he most chance of girl possibly but don't want more months of swaying, expense, and fertility treatments. What should I do at this point? I was going to bd this afternoon but 12 hours might leave him shooting blanks. Should I try tonight (24 hours after realease) or tomorrow morning (36 hours after release). I don't have ewcm but I am watery (clomid). What are my best odds of both conception and girl at this point? Thanks for your help and hopefully it will work, so I don't need to take any more of your timeI REALLY appreciate all the help. This has been a long , arduous process.

Well I can promise if you don't have sex, you won't conceive. PLEASE have sex NOW and then if he feels like not a lot came out (which does happen sometimes) then forget everythign I just said and go for a second attempt.

I probably won't ovulate until tomorrow at noon at earliest so I will definitely bd before then obviously. I'm just wondering if I shopuld wait until the last minute to give his sperm time to refresh from the midnight last night release? I may not get pg because he could be shooting blanks after the release.

Basically, to clarify, I am wondering whether I should wait until tomorrow morning (36 hours after dh release and 6-12 hours before o) or do it tonight (24 hours after dh release and 12 hours or so before o, or both? Any ideas what would be best?

24 hours is more than enough time for most guys to recover from one release (now if he had done like 3 in a row for 3 days then maybe not) and I think you are best getting in sooner rather than later.
Then like I said, if he feels like nothing came out, have another attempt.
