    Embarrassed TMI - I need a wee bit of advice

    Hi - we're aiming to DTD tonight...got our lavender massage oil and the hot showers are good to go lol a few questions though- if ANYONE can help?

    I'm 1DBO, so hoping to catch egg in morning - this is still pink (sorry Atomic, I know timing is NOT important, but it matters that I get an attempt in before O day right?? lol)? Hubby has abstained for 10days exactly and he's not sure if he should release once before or not to bother as we're only going for one attempt. He was going to FR but life got in the way (I.E kids were ill and sleeping in our room!!).

    Used half applicator of rePhresh this morning at 9am, not DTD til at least 11pm...this is more than the 12hrs reccommended but will it still work (also not overkill)? - used other half yesterday morning at 9am, and not using any more (did not like the feeling of applying!).

    Thinking of doing a J&D after 5mins - too soon or too late? Any advice would be great on this as first boy was straight to sleep, second boy was hips in air for 15mins etc, third boy was J&D after 5mins and last boy was an immediate J&D, with SET, but also a Shettles attempt :/

    Used SI days 3-7 but not sure how it works? Meaning - how can my body respond to it if I'm BDing almost 8 days afterwards (more a science curiosity than mattering to my sway lol)? Does it build up and just sit and wait til it's needed?

    Also, I'm very hungry...as I was struggling to completely follow LE, I've not allowed myself to eat/snack after 6pm - except for Diet Cokes. This is making me very hungry in the evenings and the mornings as I have also been skipping breakfast until 12noon....then I eat one small bowl of porage, cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit - then nothing til 4/5pm when I have a small dinner. All good I think as I was a very heavy snacker. I also know I should be attempting to keep blood sugar low, but obviously not too much - hence the diet cokes all day (read that on an essay I think) and believe this hungry may be a sign of low blood sugar...? Should I be hungry when BDing or should I be getting energy up for that and allow it to fall by morning - like eat a packet of crisps or something?

    And last...TMI...the big O...? I avoided it last time (Shettles advice)...so do I do that again? DH has to very quick though because...well, you know, he's damn good lol or does it not matter and I can go ahead and "enjoy" the moment??? sorry...

    Don't worry about me worrying...I'm genuinely relaxed this time around - surprised myself actually, as thought I would get stressed out - but the planning has actually been fun!...These are mere niggles as we would be very, very pleased with another boy (have enough for a hockey team that way) - just want to know really. Looking forward to whoever decides to join our wee family and be loved by all these kids demanding another baby to play with

    Sorry I tried to get to this but then just couldn't manage it.

    It's def. important to get an attempt before you ovulate because that's best odds of conception, not because of swaying.

    As you can attest, I doubt that the J and D pattern matters too awfully much. I htink the J and D after 5 min. gives a better chance of conception than immediate J and D and is "pinker" than lying flat/hips propped but doubt it matters much.

    SI works like Clomid, first it blocks estrogen levels all together and then your body gets confused and ups and ups estrogen, then when you stop the SI it sends out a big burst of E all at once. So during part of your cycle when you are supposed to have rather a lot of E, you have very little, which reduces the amount and quality of the fertile fluids in your repro tract and makes it harder for sperm to make it to egg, which I believe sways pink. Then the big burst of estrogen ensures you will still ovulate despite having low estrogen during part of your cycle - usually in order to get that low estrogen to affect your repro tract you have to diet, etc practically to the point of stopping ovulation but the Clomid and soy allow the lower estrogen but then still make you ovulate due to the rebound effect.

    YOu cannot possibly be getting enough calories, protein, and fat??? Let alone potassium. you need to eat more. I had three meals a day, I just fit them in between 11 am and 8 pm. It is the overall diet that matters and wheter you're hungry when you have attempt is almost certainly irrelevant.

    RE the big O - conventional wisdom says no, but honestly I have talked to lots of girl moms who have them too and I had one when I got my DD (albeit a very lame one LOL) so I can attest it is no magic bullet. It may even help up odds of conception with the one attemtp
