Hello all! I am just now ttc #1 but have been tracking my bbt and checking cm for about 4 months now in preparation and have a question about cm. I have noticed that I don't really get ewcm and my cm is almost always just creamy. Could this end up being a problem while ttc or will it actually just give me a better chance of conceiving a girl? I would LOVE to have a baby girl but really I just want to make sure we are able to get pregnant. Thanks in advance!

I had very little CM two months I did not concieve, could be lots of other reasons. But the month I concieved, I noticed a little more CM, not nearly as much as I am used to, but enough for me to get pregnant

Creamy CM is still fertile CM, it's just not AS fertile. I think you still have a chance at PG and it likely increases your chance at a girl. I wouldn't think you would need to take anything to dry it up but I'll leave that call to Atomic.

Thank you to both of you for your input! I'm really hoping for girl but since this is our first I am only going to do a lazy sway since I will be ok with a boy too as long as baby is healthy. I am doing low dose asprin, peppermint tea, cut down on meat and caffeine, less sugar and more aspartame, and overall leaning toward more of a LE diet without trying too hard. I was going to do Zyrtec but if I don't need it I'd rather not. Does my "lazy sway" seem like it will help sway at all or am I wasting my time not going full out?

The conventional wisdom is that creamy CM = more girls. No real strong evidence but that's the theory.
It may lower odds of conception, but many times even tho you don't see actual E#WCM, it's still in there just out of your sight.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Lazy sways are fine!
It is still swayign even if you only do one tiny thing. It's a radio dial, not a light switch. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...s-swaying.html

That's interesting. I'm not doing a very intense sway so I'm hoping that at least helps a little.
