It's just a kind of fiber from the shells of shrimp and crabs, that absorbs fat and fat soluble vitamins (A, D, and E, which yoru body uses to produce testosterone and estrogen). It helps pink sways by reducing calories from fat and also lowering the amount of fats and fat-soluble vitamins your body can use to make testosterone and estrogen. Plus, it keeps your bowels regular which has been a very serious issue for people on the Pink diets.
If you don't like Chitosan, any fiber supp like Metamucil and Benefiber will work just as well as long as they don't have a lot of additional nutrients with them (some are vitamin fortified)!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
