    Trying this again.....

Hello all! I have been a member at this site for a few years, and used the info here to TTC my baby girl. I did a loose sway and we got our baby girl! I am so thankful that I found this site, as I do feel my sway helped, and I have recommended it to many friends and friends of friends. Atomic, thank you for everything you do!

Well, baby girl is now a year old, and DH and I want to try to give her a little sister (this would be our last). DH has a 15-year-old son from a previous marriage, and we have two little boys as well. Things I did during my last sway: drank Crystal Light like it was going out of style, took Vitex AF-O each month, had just come off of BCP (mini-pill, progestin-only), was losing some weight, took baby aspirin, avoided beef and most meat, really. We did FR and DTD probably 7-8 days in a row when baby girl was conceived. I had a positive OPK for three days that cycle. Apparently she was a good egg. We are also (a bit) older; DH was 35 during our sway and I was 31. Now we are 37 and 33. DH is also on propecia, and was when we conceived our girl (not when we had our boys), and I have a belief that may have helped with the sway as well. We TTCed for three months and she was conceived on the third cycle.

Right now I have been on the mini-pill for about six months. I have been losing weight -- 25 lbs since the end of July. I'm 5'3" or so and about 122 lbs. I've done this watching my calories, and exercising (elliptical) about 45 minutes 5-6 days a week. I stay around 1200 calories. Most days I do eat breakfast.

I am going to stop eating breakfast, and continue to watch my calories. I'll stop eating meat also. Most days I do have a veggie sub from Subway, with cheese -- I get all the veggies, on wheat bread -- is that OK to continue or is that too nutritious? Should I try to lower my calories more or just keep doing what I've been doing? How should I start Vitex? Since I am on the pill, I don't really know when or if I ovulate. Any ideas? Any other new tips/sway methods? We will be doing FR again, and I am not interested in the "weirder" sway methods like lime juice, lube etc. I actually did try using lime juice one month when we were TTC, nothing happened and I think I probably just killed all of the sperm, and then second month we used Sylk, and I got a horrible UTI, first I ever had. Third month we didn't do any of that and that was when we actually conceived.

Once I cut out breakfast and meat, and start Vitex/baby aspirin, how long should I wait before TTC?

Thanks in advance for any tips... looking forward to getting started again!

Congrats again on your baby girl and welcome back!

    veggie sub just fine!

don't go lower than 1200 cals.

new sway tactics are exercise is getting great results and also eating more Omega 6 fats like veg oils (except olive) and margarine instead of Omega 3, healthy oils (coconut and olive) and saturated animal fats.

We have also been getting great results with sticking with one attempt. Obviously as you know you can still get girls with frequent BD but I do think one attempt is proving to be more reliable.

Coming off the pill, I would just BD unprotected every 4 days and take OPK at the same time, if you get a pos OPK you can either go for another attempt if you're 3-4 days out from prev. attempt, leave it if you just had an attempt, and if you're in between and can't make up your mind, then you can flip a coin.

I never recommend lime juice and I agree the jellies are not getting the results and are inhibiting conception too much.

I woudl give it 6-8 weeks before TTC
