Anyone have healthy viable pregnancies with low progesterone?

My hcg seems good so far but my progesterone is low or on the low side...9... Can anyone give me some stories of hope please? Feel so sad right now and Doctor does not want to prescribe progesterone and I guess I understand but...not really.. It's like I'd rather at least try it and if it works great if not then at least I tried ya know?

Praying someone can give me some hope here...

I'm not sure why they would not give you progesterone because that is low. I guess if you have never had any losses, there may be no reason to add anything just yet.

i have had one loss. never knew the cause. this makes me think it was low progesterone that caused it.

i was crying on the phone with the nurse. she obviously has a heart of stone because she couldnt have cared less. not even for piece of mind, which i begged for. I told her 2000 was great for where i was at she didnt understand because she hadnt been testing and she didnt know what the hcg must have been around when i first took a test or what it was just 3 days ago and that those numbers showed me this baby was perfectly viable and not getting a fair chance at life if they didnt at least try the progesterone and her response it "it will do nothing to help you if you're going to miscarry then you are going to miscarry"

More and more doctors are no longer using the prog supps with natural conceptions because they have been clinically shown not to help prevent miscarriages. They are just dragging out the losses, unfortunately, so a lot of docs have given up on them. It is not that anyone has a heart of stone. We sometimes put the medical professionals in a very difficult position where they are criticized for overmedicating and overtreating people, but then at the same time they are criticized for giving up on treatments that are proven to be useless.

She is very early along, that is why her progesterone is that low. She's at the low end of normal for her gestation when this test was done.
