I have posted a few times on In Gender site. First all nub shots were boy predictions. Then I posted a 13 week potty shot that seemed more girly to them. Then I posted here on this site and it was almost all boy predictions. Then for fun, I posted again and InGender went back to boy predictions. My point is that these were all the same pics, no new ones. Some say not to go by potty shots at that early gestation. And I am wondering if there are any other sites you have used or any that have ultrasound techs on hand to answer questions? Also, do OB's tell early ultrasounds well or is it more of a tech's opinion. I find out in a week the gender, and as you can tell I am making myself sick with stress about this roller coaster of emotions![]()

Tried other sites? My experience

It's called nub guessing. It's a guess whether your tech makes it or we do.
You and your tech get a live action view and can guess with more accuracy than we are able to because all we see is a a still shot.
If the tech takes the time to get baby in the right position and then look, at 13 weeks, it's a highly accurate prediction.
With what you post on here and anywhere else, it's just a guess.

Well according to what you say, it sounds like it points to a boy according to what I understand.
You said both sites pointed to boy by nub. Potty shots at 13 weeks are apparently unreliable so I wouldn't go by that at all!
I guess think boy as that is the general consensus but it still is not 100% at this point so prepare to hear either!7

Google nub-guessing if you are looking for more "guesses". There are some ultrasound techs out there who do this, I couldn't give you any web-sites if that is what you're looking for. It is usually just a tech opinion, some of them are well learned in the theory, some not.

There is a tech on Baby center's ultrasound forum I believe. Her name is turtle something. We used to have one here but I have not seen her post in a while.

Yeh turtle was good and cold water or love my 4 on ingender are generally accurate. Diamond 5 and jenaemma aren't techs as far as I know but also both good at guessing. I think boy from your shots xx

I think your nub looked very boyish, but like others have said, nothing is 100% at this stage. We all try our best to guess but sometimes it can be tricky going off of a pic or 2!
Best of luck!!(8)

I am sorry to hear that you are upset and my advice is to step away from the computer and get out somewhere and enjoy your life, because that baby's gender is set at this point and all the guessing in the world will not change it.
All ultrasound techs worth their salt will agree that it is really not reliable at 13 weeks and nubs are just guesses at that point even when done by very skilled techs. That is why the majority of doctors offices will not tell gender before 16 weeks minimum and oftentimes more like 18-20 weeks.
BTW at 13 weeks potty shots are not at all reliable and so any guesses you receive at that point on potty shots are worthless.
Nub shots taken before the end of the 12th week gestation are also totally unreliable.
I have seen a TON of people come onto the sites heartbroken after receiving inaccurate guesses from techs and doctors. I actually find the techs to be better at gender than the OB's are.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Yes and I also want to reiterate that even a tech on a site (were you to find one, bearing in mind that you can't know if the person on the other end of the computer is actually a tech or a 50 year old dude who gets his jollies looking at ultrasounds LOL) cannot get a good read off of one picture whereas your ultrasound tech is looking at the goods for 20-45 min. depending on the length of your u/s.
You are looking for something that doesn't exist and you need to stop stressing since it's not good for you or your baby's health.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
