    Help! My Sway Snuck Up!

This is my first post. I have been a lurker on gender sway boards for awhile. I also just paid for the personalized sway plan but I don't have access yet (if someone could let me know when I get access to fill out my questionnairethat would be awesome) .

I plan to ttc pink in June. I am ordering the supplements and opks and all of that today and today is cd1 for me. I know that I o a little latter in my cycle from when I charted before but I am going to use opks this month to confirm.

I understand the science behind the supplements and the timing and all the hot baths ect. but I have read that diet is super important too. I was going to skip this part because it confuses me...but maybe I could get a little help here? LE means low sodium too right? I think that might be the hard part for me. I have been on a low calorie diet for awhile (Weight Watchers) and eat 2 cans of green beans with laughing cow cheese and salsa every day at work. (which was only 2 ww points)That is too much sodium though, right?

I think dinner will be okay. I can do rice or pasta with a little sauce or something. I think I might juts need to hear what everyone else eats for lunch for some examples.

I am nervous now that I realize it is so close. I hope I can get some help. I am stressed about the diet!

    Thanks!

I don't know the answer to all your questions, but I do know that most of us think sodium doesn't sway at all. I don't think many of us factored that into our sway

Thank you! I think I am just nervous about eating the wrong thing. Like, I know you can eat apples and strawberries but are oranges okay? That kinda think. I think maybe I read that most things are okay, with some exceptions but because I didn't realize the month we want to ttc was coming up so soon, I am trying to soak in as much info and not do the wrong thing!

Well, I think atomic would suggest not stressing about little things like whether to eat an apple or orange, but in short, oranges contain a lot of vitamins and nutrients so I would choose the apple. There are NO wrong things on LE and cheat days occasionally are encouraged so that being on LE for a long time isnt so daunting.

There are no foods that are not allowed on LE! 😊 Most of us choose to go vegetarian, skip breakfast and cut out or limit nutrient dense foods like avocado, nuts, lots of dairy...etc. And most don't worry about sodium as it's not believed to sway at all and makes LE a lot easier if. It counting sodium too.

There's a thread where some of us write what we are each day so you can get some ideas, but the cookbook/diet plan you can buy is the best!! It explains LE, gives you meal ideas and recipes and even ideas on how to "fix" your day of you're under in something. Well worth the money. 👍

Great advice from the ladies above!!! I know it seems overwhelming but its not when you start.... Do you have my fitness pal app? Its great to record fat/calories/protein we generally aim for 1500 max but some people doing cardio or who are very tall are doing 1600-1800 calories .Then 40-50 g protein and 20-30% fat . You can really eat what you want but you soon learn what tips you over in protein for example meat.
You will get all the info in your customized plan. Good luck!!! Please come and chat we are super friendly ttc april/may/ June swayers x

Hi! I do have your questionnaire so you must have figured it out. I will get right to work on that.

I have a short version of the LE Diet here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/tryi...l-version.html and you also have access to some diet stuff that comes with your sway plan, let me know if you don't see it.

Weight Watchers diet does tend to sway pink and if that's working for you, then stick with it.

Most of us have moved away from limiting sodium. I never thought it swayed to begin with (after I got my 4th boy limiting sodium it was pretty hard to believe in that any more) and I got my girl with both my hsuband and I eating tons of it. That has been the experience of several of us - got boys limiting sodium and then gave up on that and got girls. I keep it in the mix just because it is possible and some people want to include it, but it's way easier to stick to diet if you don't!

Green beans are actually free on LE Diet, you don't need to count anything in them. If you aren't limiting sodium, then that lunch is great!

We have a thread on here where people are listing the foods they eat and it's a great source of ideas! http://genderdreaming.com/forum/tryi...eating-14.html

When in doubt, all things being equal, given a choice between a more nutritious and less nutritious food, choose the less nutritious one. (so as a general rule, apples over oranges). But that doesn't mean you can't have an orange if you would like one!
Here is a a thread that will help you with that! http://genderdreaming.com/forum/le-d...ood-guide.html
