Does anyone know what your blood sugar level should be around?

I'm now a type 2 diabetic and check my sugar often. My sugars usually range from 92-112. I am not swaying just yet. I'm pretty much eating how I usually do but plan to go on a diet soon. I'm surprised my sugar levels are good in spite of how I eat at times. I guess because I'm on a high amount of metformin. I'm just wondering what is the level blood sugar need to be at when swaying for a girl?
Mommy to 7 finally had #1 in 2016! Had boy #8 after. Now returning to try to sway for final child praying for #2 🤞🙏

Hi. I believe metformin sways pink to begin with, but the lower you can get your sugars the better. Im unfamiliar with 92-112. Is that like 5-7 (normal)? I think the lower side of normal is better.

My sugars are in a great range I think kind of low especially when it's in the low 90s. My doctor doesn't want them higher than 160. I was on metformin when I conceived boy #7 but now on double the amount. I hope being on more metformin works in my favor for conceiving a girl.

I don't want you guys aiming for a particular number. When I say "lower blood sugar" I don't mean the actual level, I mean that you're aiming to eat in a way that makes your body have to burn off stores of fat and fuel to keep your blood sugar in a normal range. Your body does not like or want to have low blood sugar (or high blood sugar either) and immediately takes steps to fix the problem. It's NOT low blood sugar itself, as in a number on a testing meter, that does anything. It's your body's biological reaction to your sugar level dropping and what it does then to fix the situation. (hope that makes sense)

NO ONE with diabetes or on Metformin should EVER try to get their blood sugar lower - follow the instructions as given by your doctor in terms of medication and guidelines!
