I know that no sway is guaranteed and all of us should be prepared for an opposite gender result, but if you could go back and try again (or tweak your sway), is there anything you would have done differently that you think would have helped? Or do you think it was just bad luck?

I've got a few thoughts on this as I swayed pink hard in 2012 and wasn't successful. I stuck so strictly to LE that I lost too much weight too fast. We therefore did multiple attempts to maximise chance of conception and I had to increase my calories slightly, which I imagine gave my body the message that times weren't as hard any more. My cycles lengthened to 40 ish days long, making it difficult to pinpoint ovulation, so FR was tricky logistically too. So this time I think we'll DTD every four days to ensure we catch the fertile window without me obsessing over OPKs and temps. I normally cook from scratch using wholegrains and fresh ingredients, so I continued with that but in a vegetarian, low fat way. With hindsight I feel that I was consequently still eating quite a nutritious diet. So this time I'm aiming for 1800cals (I'm BF) and tonnes more processed food, white bread, instant noodles and gin and tonics!

I don't know the results of my sway yet. I just got a BFP on Sunday, but if I get a boy this time I will likely get off my antidepressants so I can lose more weight and make sure to try adding exercise. I've heard that exercise is getting great results.

I'm not even PG yet but with an attempt just 1-2 weeks away I'm already having regrets like not exercising and having a few too many cheats (like a whole week!). 😕

I still don't know if I had a successful sway, but my story is very similar to weezie. I too swayed hard losing weight when I really didn't need to loose anymore, hence losing Ov. I had to increase cals and slow down on my extreme exercising plus had to increase to upper limits on LE. So we shall see soon if I swayed the opposite.
