I posted a few months ago and had this elaborate plan laid out; looking back, it was pretty hard core. I've since realized that with my high strung (obsessive, boy-mom) personality, it's best to add as few stress triggers as possible in order to get our sweet girl. Here's what's in the new plan -- I'd LOVE to hear any opinions/feedback.
Me:
LE Diet (nearly vegetarian), skipping breakfast and snacks, little to no caffeine, lots of aspartame drinks,
60 minutes of exercise - at least 5 days a week,
Baby aspirin (UPDATE: I've now decided to remove the aspirin from our sway), folic acid, fiber,
One attempt at positive OPK,
Coming off of the birth control pill the month before our first attempt,
OH! And I'll be using a salt lamp for ions and already have a girl outfit under our bed.
Hubby:
500 - 1000 mg of OLE,
A 5-7 day abstain before our attempt
He does lawn care so walks upwards of 10-12 miles per day depending on the day (so his "boys" should stay nice and warm)
We were originally going to start TTC this month, but have changed plans and will now be starting in late September, so I'm just trying to get my ducks in a row. Thanks in advance, ladies!

What are my chances with this more "laid back" PINK sway plan?

I think it all sounds good! The one thing I will note is that Atomic is no longer recommending the use of baby aspirin for future swayers. I was thinking about having my DH use the OLE... i think I might have him add it in if we are not successful this month.

Awesome! Thanks, Hairbows! Hopefully she'll chime in when she gets a minute, but do you remember why she said to exclude the aspirin? Is that recommendation just for pink swayers, or for everyone in general?

That's still a pretty good sway, not lite at all! I think a bug key is to not stress over it!

Thanks, ladies! I feel like there isn't anything in there that will cause me to stress out -- which to me is super important! I want for this experience to stay as positive as possible. Hope, hope, hope it is the key to my pink dream come true!! <3

That a great hard-core sway
I will say atomic thinks caffeine either doesn't hurt or may even help a pink sway so if you love coffee and diet soda there's no reason to give it up unless you're just trying to be healthier.

Yeah, I'm going to cut out caffeine to reduce the likelihood of withdrawal headaches during the first trimester that I experienced with my boys. Plus, I'm really weary (as we often tend to think we need to do the opposite of what we did to conceive our boys) because I was drinking diet energy drinks and diet Pepsi like crazy when I conceived both of them. My husband is going to continue the diet drinks through conception, though.
Oh, and anyone that might know, I have another question: I have found that even when I'm on antihistamines (I have NOT tried sudafed yet), I still have an abundance of CM throughout the month, is there another way to reduce my CM? Should I use a vinegar douche before we BD? I know that the whole pH idea is out the window, but I need something to get rid of all that fluid before we BD.Mom to two rambunctious boys
