Licorice Root and Abstaining Question

I am having DH abstain for 14 days then we are doing a one time 2 day cut-off, I will then have him release twice a day for an O+12 if I can time it right. I know we both have high testerosgerone (sp?) so I am taking saw palmetto and I had him start his licorice root yesterday as we are two weeks from the first attempt. Right now I am giving him the 450mg 3 times a day...would it totally hurt to throw in a few extra? Will it be too much with the abstaining? He is only 32 and in the past we have been very fertile. licorice root 450mg 3 times a day- lowers testosterone and raises estrogen (this is good for dh not for dw). Only have him take from your af to O. He needs the 2ww for a break. Can only take for up to 6 months then he needs a 2 week break (have him follow this 2 week break after the 2ww break so he will total a 4 week break

The dosage is 3 times a day but I know others have used it only once or twice a day. I would be worried about exceeding the dosage as it can have some side effects (look it up - relating to high blood pressure I think) and you don't want to take it too far so he can't 'perform' at all! We are planning to frequent BD so I'm hoping to have DH try taking 2 a day and to add or take one away if the effect is too good! If you're really worried about DH's testosterone you could have him eat no/less meat/fish/eggs.

I just read a post on in-gender who swears by giving her hubby double the dose of licorice root along with 12 day abstaining. She has done this twice and got a girl both times. I am going to write up a sway plan so I was going to go back and have a good look at her sway. I was wondering about doubling my husbands dose but I think I would be worried that it would do him serious harm? Has anyone given their hubby higher than the 3 times a day dose??

I'm already nervous about giving DH something with potential nasty side effects so I wouldn't even consider that.
