I'm hoping some of you gender guessing experts will be able to help me out!
I have just had my 12 week scan this week with my dates at 12+1 but baby measuring 12+3. During the scan the baby was crazy active and although we have 10 great shots there is not a clear one of the nub... so frustrating!
I was hoping that someone would be able to make an educated guess based on what I saw at the scan and the few pictures I have?
- Several times I saw a clear, long white nub... it was very straight and seemed longer than any of the other nub pictures on here. Not sure what long nub means?
- At various points during the scan the skull looked both rounded and curved so I guess this was more to do with angle and not a good indicator.
- Numerous times I saw, in profile view, what looked like two white parallel lines. Both lines were shorter than the nub mentioned above but in the same place.
Unfortunately I dont have a clear picture of them but in the following picture you can see them but a bit fuzzy;
Here is another although this looks a little like 3 lines!
I am fairly sure that potty shots dont mean anything but here is the one we have anyway.... they were not checking sex here but measuring leg bone. Part of me thinks there is nothing there and when I look again it looks like a little turtle - am I going mad?!
Any thoughts about any of the above would be great.... my gut instinct from the scan is mixed as onscreen I think I got both girl AND boy vibes.
So girl or boy lean based on the above?
Thanks!!

I'm not a pro but what you say you saw sounds promising for a girl. Mine was crazy long at my scan. However where you are pointing is not where the nub would be. It would be coming down from the bottom of the stomach is as best as I can describe. You're pointing way under the bum.
Just over 12 weeks is wayyy too early and good chance nub will look girly at this point AND I don't see the nub at all in these pics! So don't drive yourself mad7

Yep...I see no nub in any of those pics and I certainly don't see anything I'd guess on in the potty shot. At this stage, all babies have something between their legs anyway, there aren't many hormonal changes taking place yet that will tell those parts to retreat or pop out. I don't think there is a single clue in these pics. But a long nub is more inclined to girl, so maybe there is some chance you were seeing a girly nub!

-Our rainbow little man (K: 2011)
-Our sway and pray little diva (J: 2013)

We may be done, we may come back for one more sway. Time will tell. At the moment, we are very content with our family!

Thanks all - yes I think you are all right.... no real nub shot. It is so frustrating as everyone on my pregnancy group seems to have received just one picture which happens to contain a beautiful nub whereas I hae 10 pictures with nothing!
Myabe I am grasping at straws but do you reckon this could be the end of the nub peeking out from behind the leg?
