Do some of you believe pH is an important part of a sway? I'm not totally sold on the idea but I think I'm going to incorporate it into my sway anyway. So I started looking for strips on amazon and a lot of them have negative feedback. Interested to know what brands you use for pH strips or do you use a reader like a hannah? Also, I can't reach my cervixso will it still be accurate for me if I can't test whats all the way up there??

I'm not fully convinced, think it might just lower sperm count which will sway pink, but either way I'll be using RepHresh. I've tested a few times with pH sticks but not had great results, also bought a cheap electronic one but don't seem to have enough CM to reach the sensor which is quite far up inside. During my sway I just won't bother testing pH as I know the RepHresh will sort it out if it's too high anyway

No, I'm not convinced at all.
Evidence for - when I started swaying with DS 4 my pH dropped from 6 to 4.5 doing absolutely nothing other than losing weight. that seems to indicate that diet CAN affect pH.
Evidence against - I was checking my pH regularly (every day and sometimes twice) and it never went over 4.5. Result - DS 4.
More evidence against - most people's CM around ovulation naturally rises to the high 6's-7's and semen pH is normally in the 7's as well. It is very unlikely that given this fact, that super low or super high pH is in any way required to conceive a baby of a particular gender. If ALL sperm thrive in mid-range pH, then why would X or Y sperm "like" a pH that is dramatically different from that??
You will prob. find that as you near ovulation, you are making more CM and it will be easier to test even if you can't get near the cervix itself. I don't want anyone to reach up inside their cervix to test pH anyway (this is advice given on another site and it is very dangerous!!!) It will be enough to just know a ballpark figure of whether you're getting more acidic!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
