    lemon water amount and pickled things

    ive read that we should be drinking 4-8 12oz glasses of liquid per day (including juices, teas, etc) to get pg. DH agreed to lemon water (so darling of him) ;-). hw much should i make him drink??? hehehee i plan on giving him a huge jug to complete by the days end at work. but i can just FEEL that he's gunna whine and complain that he'd like real water. (he also drinks coffee every am 14oz, and soda (12oz) 4x's a week with dinner, and mint green tea 10oz every night). normall he'll drink about 16oz of water total at work, then at home 1-2 12oz of water (depending on if he had soda with dinner or not..if he doesnt have soda then its 12oz of water).
    the plan is to replace only the water with lemon water. so thats at most 28-40oz of lemon water i guess? is this enough?

    also are "pickled" things okay for blue? like giardinare (sp?), pickled mangos, and other fruits and vegies, etc?
    my mom ate lots of that had 2 boys and me. i know OWT says pickled is good but it was just the salt in it right?


    ps boy is it dead in here today.

    I assume the pickled fruits and veggies would be ok as long as the particular fruit/veggie is on the boy diet? Idk for sure about that.

    I would get your DH to drink within that range 4-8 12oz glasses of lemon water per day. Maybe cut back on the soda as well.

    I would say pickled items are OK with the vinegars and the salt ... I'd think it is great, actually.

    I think what DH does isn't as important as what you do, so I wouldn't stress it too much. Getting him to drink even 2 glasses of lemon water a day is better than nothing! I agree with Alexis, cutting back on soda wouldn't hurt. But really, I wouldn't fret over it! You're lucky he's willing to go along!

    he used to drink it EVERYDAY i got him down to every other day so far.

    i know. its like a battle trying to get him to change. i know everyone says the guy's diet inst that impt, but i just want to do the BEST sway since this is most likely our last (according to HIM!). im changing husbands.

    Maybe get him to take the Vitamin B12 so it can repair sperm damage caused by the soda?

    thats the plan! hopefully the B12 will counter the caffeine enough! he 's agreed to all supps (8) which im thrilled about. but like anyone says, diet is more impt than vitamins/supps, right? thats my worry.

    I would just give him one liter to start and then see. He may like it. We often drink lemon water in the summer. He doesn't need to drink any more than he normally does, I like the idea of replacing his reg. water intake with lemon water.

    Pickled things are great for blue!! The OWT do say eat pickles for boys, but even just regular pickles have a lot of salt. Enjoy!
