Qu for girl mums

Hi, just wanted to know if any of you have long periods, I am having a very strange period wher I am still getting mucousy blood on cd11, normally af would only last until cd5. I'm trying to work out if this is a hormonal thing, is it familiar to any of you girl mums? Thanks!!!!

normally ihave 30-31 day cycles. my AF lasts about 7-8 days butthe last day or 2 are usually just spotting. i would get some mucousy blood too on those last couple days cd7-8.
maybe just a strange cycle like you said? im on cd35 and still no af :-( why us?

Thank you for your reply, gizmo! My cycles are normally 31 days but last cycle mine was about 38 days!! Maybe it's the stress?

probably stress and maybe if youre taking supps? i just finally got AF yesterday. VERY excited. mine was delayed by the supps l-arginine..porbbaly stress too, youre right!

I have normal 5 day AF.....I agree with Gizmo, maybe it is the supps? I know it was the Larg for you, Gizmo. Are you taking Vitex, Swish? I would maybe try that if your cycles are super wack. And if you are taking B6, it can elongate your cycle too, which I bet you know. I think as long as you are having a cycle, even if long, that includes ovulating in the middle and a decent length LP, you shouldn't worry too much, hun. GL!

Hmmm I am sorry I thought I already answered this! I have to lay off the crack LOL.

Are you taking any baby aspirin or cranberry?? They are blood thinners and can make you have extra long periods. If you think this might be what's happening, you should reduce your dosage by a bit and see if it helps. Don't just tough it out though because bleeding can happen in your stomach or brain as well, which isn't a good thing.

Thank you, atomic, you are nit going mad, you did already reply on my other thread!! I started this one as thought maybe girl mums could reassure me if it was common on diet etc. The bleeding has stopped and I'm only taking aspirin every 3 days now
