    Shallow Release?

Sorry for the TMI thread, but I was wondering just HOW important shallow penetration is in the sway scheme of things??? With everything we're already doing to lower DH's sperm count should I still be 'encouraging' shallow release?

it's hard to say exactly how much you're already lowering your DH's sperm count with all the things you're already doing... and if one more thing will either help you sway or prevent you getting pregnant at all.

I guess it's up to you and how long you've been trying/how much of a rush you're in to get a BFP?

I didn't worry about shallow release this cycle - I figure I'm busting my butt to sway in so many other ways, and I don't want to have another BFN cycle if I can help it.

I'm sorry I didn't get back to answer this one in a timely fashion!!

If you're doing a lot of other things to sway, I don't think shallow release is very important at all. I seriously, seriously doubt that of the 3 billion women who are currently walking around, that all or even most were exclusively from shallow release!!

Just do what you can do...if something happens and DH goes too deep, don't worry! Jump and Dump basically accomplishes the exact same thing anyway.

That's a good point, I wonder whether we should do one or the other but not both!

I think J and D is probably more effective/less stressful than trying for a shallow deposit. It may help up odds of pg as well to NOT do shallow deposit esp. if you're using antihistamines and jelly.
