Hello All! I have been gearing up to sway hopefully next month and had a question about exercise. I have a Diastasis Recti from my previous two pregnancies and have to do some core exercises daily (nothing intense) - is going to be fine to do? These are life long exercises I will need to do so it's not like I can wait until I'm done to try to sway. I also use a stationary bike two to three times a week for about 45 minutes a day- is this terrible? Is there a way to counteract the testosterone this will produce? I was doing more intensive workouts with weights 3-4 times a week but stopped.
I am 36 (will be 37 in October) and have two little boys. I want to start soon and will do whatever I can to sway girl but I don't want my overall health to suffer. Any advice would be appreciated! Also, I am having a heck of a time getting my husband to stop with the meat and salt. Are my chances just shot?

Hi 2boys0girls
I would maybe try and stretch your 45mins on the bike to 60mins and add a day or two if you can? I don't think the core exercises would hurt, but hopefully someone more 'advanced' in swaying will let you know
Good luck!

I don't think the core work will harm, so long as you're on LE. It was explained to me that you can't build muscle on the LE diet (assuming you are?) that were not bringing in the nutrients to do so.
I agree with Immi - up it to 60mins; which will be easy in no time; just takes a little pushing for a few days.

Thanks All! I will try to step up my game! There is just so much information out there about swaying. It's hard to decide what the right thing to do is.
Thanks again!

UP time on bike to 60 minutes 4 times a week (and 6-7 would be better).
The core exercises are fine as long as you're doing the more intense biking.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

OMG! I have been thinking about this! I can't believe some else asked. I have diastis recti too. Well I don't have a gap anymore but I was doing the mutu program to improve it for a few weeks before I started LE diet and the 60 mins of cardio. Can I still do mutu? Many of the exercises are squats (but only 20 a day or so) so I was afraid of building muscles so I stopped it when I started my sway. Can I do it in addition to my cardio? The exercises are not intense at all.

That is so funny- I do MuTu as well! It was amazing although I still have a bit of a gap (but very shallow connective tissue so I'm probably healed). I love the muscles MuTu gave me and I don't want to lose them. I go back and forth as to what I should do- I loved the intensives and although I'm done the program I still used to do them a few times a week. What are your plans?

I think the intensives are too hard! I've actually never gotten past core 2 and I've started it quite a few times. I'm wondering if maybe I can just do core 1 in addition to the 60 minutes of cardio. I was also drinking chicken bone broth to repair it but I figured that's probably too many nutrients for the le diet so I've only been having bone broth if it's a base to soups.
