I have lost just over 14lb and last cycle I didn't have any ewcm only a positive opk. Could this be affecting my chances of a BFP? I'm 9dpo today and have let the diet slip during the 2ww as I was feeling like it might be my month but now I have no symptoms apart from af type cramps and had a bfn today. Feeling kind of gutted as I'm very impatient for a BFP.
Do you think I should try to gain a bit more weight to increase my chances of a BFP altogether? I'm still a healthy bmi of 22. Feeling down today. I really want a pink BFP but I'm worried that it's going to take too long if I carry on not getting ewcm. I used to get loads for about a week.

Ewcm question

Well I am having the opposite problem but I think that's where you want to be; it does not sound like your weight; it sounds like diet.
I also think there is always SOME ewcm up there; if you're producing estrogen (and an egg) there should be some? Maybe I'm wrong in thinking.
And 9dpo might be a slight bit early to test.... Give it another couple days

Yes, it can affect your chances of BFP if you have literally NO EWCM. If you are ovulating and BMI 22, that is not the reasonyou're not getting pregnant and we have seen good results down to BMI 21 so you still have weight to spare, please don't panic and start gaining weight or anything.
Re the EWCM, it is totallly possible to have it up inside even if you don't see any visible CM. This may sway pink anyway and my suggestion is just keep doing what you're doing and eventually sperm will meet egg. YOu make different amounts of EWCM every month and this may have just been a light month. You have no idea waht will happen next month or the month after that.
9DPO is way too early to test anyway.

Well I was doing exercise but that dropped off during the 2ww. I'm trying to eat low gi and have cut out sugary stuff completely. Skipping breakfast and trying to limit protein although again this has not happened during this 2ww. I will get back on it when af shows as at the moment I feel too blue about bfn to stress about it. I still feel my blood sugars are lower as overall my fat/protein/carbs are lower than they were pre sway. I'm also drinking a lot of aspartame drinks. Have stopped daily aspirin and now take it 2-3 times weekly. One bd at positive opk but might up this to bd every 3 days to increase chance of a bfp. Or do you think that's a bad idea?
Thanks for your replies. I got bfp at 8dpo with ds so kind of feel that I'm out. Will try be stricter on the diet, and start up exercise again once af is hereLast edited by Bobster; June 4th, 2015 at 01:46 PM.

I've just checked my bmi again and it's actually 21.3. It says this is healthy though. People keep commenting saying I've lost loads of weight and it's making me a bit paranoid that it's come off too quickly. I was 24.9 after I had my son and then I think it dropped to about 23.5 and since the diet has gone to 21.3.

21.3 is still ok. I think your weight and diet are ok but time to put on the brakes now and hold steady where you're at.
Anything like jelly, antihistamine, frequency for DH??? DH jogging, biking, hot baths, tighty whiteys?
I'd go for every 4 days first and then after a couple more months go to every 3.
BFP ad 8 DPO is quite unusual so please don't count yourself out yet.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thanks for advice I'll do stick to every 4 days and try to keep a steady weight now then. It's funny as I've really not tried that hard to lose any weight at all, I think it's cutting out sugar that's done it as its lowered my fat intake so much. Plus the fasting in the morning.
I wish DH would do any of those things but he laughed in my face and turned his nose up when I mentioned it once so I'm swaying alone without talking about it to him. Not using any antihistamines or lubes or frequency.

Mine gets that were swaying but hasn't don't any of the research or read any of your articles so everytime I tell him were doing something a certain way and he asks why I just say "it's how it's done" [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

I finally told my husband about this site and me purchasing a plan and he said "it's all 50/50" LOL. He was a little more understanding about my desire to have a girl. But he won't do the right underwear or take supps or anything like that.
