What the ultrasound tech guessed for gender has me so frazzled. My husband and I both were shocked when she said boy. We both have felt this whole time very strongly that baby is a girl, I still can't refer to the baby a a him or boy. My 3 year old son also didn't believe the tech, when she said you are having another brother he climbed under the table and called her a lier. He still calls baby his sister even though my husband has been telling him constantly no its a brother. The potty shot looks nothing like my two boys and I'm wondering could it be swollen girlie bits? Has anyone been told boy and given birth to a girl?

Oh and I should say, this was taken at 21 weeks. The tech said 100% boy, she had no doubts but I sure do.

I really would like to hear some input because I'm thiking of getting another ultrasound done but they are pretty expensive. I would like to see if anyone else thinks the tech could have made a mistake.
Has anyone been told boy at a later ultrasound 17 - 21 weeks and then had it "turn" girl?

I know how you feel. I was so sure that my second was a girl. I would have bet a million dollars. I was shocked speechless at the ultrasound. Both me and my oldest son wanted the baby to be a girl when I was pregnant with my third boy. But he adjusted very quickly to the idea of another brother and I am sure your son will too!
Thank you God and Our Lady

That does look like a boy to me. I'm sorry that's not what you wanted to hear. I've been there too. I thought my second and third were definitely girls. I was so shocked I just burst into tears with my third. It was awful.
I think getting another scan wouldn't hurt. Not because I think the tech is wrong but because it will help you get your head around and believe what you are seeing. Big hugs xxVery blessed with

It looks nothing like my other two boys with both of them you could see at least the balls in every shot. This baby all we got was this and you would think with baby sitting Indian style like it was you would see either two round balls or the famous turtle shot. I don't even know what I'm looking at here. If baby comes out a boy I will love him but I have a really hard time believing this is a boy. With both my son's I had the line down my belly really dark from my chest to my pubic area, this time I don't have it at all. I also have taken the intelligender which came out girl, I know they dont have a 100% success rate but it was accurate with both my others. Sorry if I sound like I'm ranting I'm just trying to let out my frustration and disappointment.
thank you guys for taking the time to read and comment.

Here is baby's profile, I know at this point it doesn't help in the gender guessing.

Enough people are sayin it looks boy that it's starting to register to me that their isn't really any hope. But there is a little part of me that hopes it will be one of those situations where everyone thinks boy and then ta da out pops a baby girl. It doesn't happen often but from what I've heard and read it does happen especially at poor small town hospitals like the one I went to.
