maybe I am not be meant for girls

So I have been pouring over the threads and research and info and it all makes so much sense!!! EXCEPT when it comes to my life... my first was conceived on birth control, poor diet, tons of stress -boy, my second was conceived while bf, I was at my lowest weight, I was taking prenatal but my caloric intake was minimal and I was stressed out from moving, had no job and had a 10 month old -boy, my third was a total surprise while bf. I was taking prenatal but once again I ate very minimal calories and was at my lowest weight ever- boy. I just feel like those were not boy friendly odds and swayed more towards girls. If I got boys in those circumstances how will I ever get a girl??? Oh and for all 3 boys we only had sex once a week so Def only once in fertile window. I also did not exercise.

Is there such a thing as being prone towards boys naturally regardless of diet and lifestyle????

Yes, you can absolutely be very boy prone naturally and get many boys despite strong pink sway factors. But some questions...

Were you counting cals? If not, you almost definitely vastly underestimated your true intake. Everyone does. Were you snacking, or grazing lightly all day? That sways strongly blue. What kind of food were you eating exactly? What you eat matters as much as how much you eat.

If you were eating TOO little, like eating disorder...that can sway blue for reasons we don't fully understand. That's part of why it's so important not to eat too LITTLE while swaying pink.

High fertility sways blue, certain personality traits sway blue, not exercising sways blue...and maybe your DH has a lot of blue sway factors.

You could still absolutely get a girl with a proper sway though, IMO.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

I hope so! I definitely did not have an eating disorder but just no time to eat however I forgot about snacking and I am a huge snacker! I will skip breakfast lunch and only eat dinner but I will snack on granola bars here and there throughout the day. And I know that is going to be my number one weakness to overcome while swaying. I am really going to struggle to not snack. The weight was falling off me so although I didn't count calories I know I was lower than I should have been while breastfeeding because I could not maintain a healthy weight. As far as diet goes I drink a lot of coffee and eat a lot of white rice and a fair amount of dairy. I do seem to be pretty fertile since I have 3 kids 4 and under and only one of them was planned

Yes, but that doesn't mean you can't get a girl. tRUST ME, I got 4 boys over 20 years and still ended up getting a girl eventually.

I was considered a bird and I was also vegetarian when I conceived all my boys. I was a grazer, however and also liked my fatty foods. I had two failed sways before this baby as well. I cut out snacking, cut down drastically on fatty foods and exercised and I finally have a little girl cooking You can definitely get a little girl!

Thanks for the encouragement ladies. It is going to be a huge adjustment for me to not snack. I don't get much time for lunch/ meals at work so snacking is how I survive. I will have to rework that

Oh good. I was very confused by that statement. I will continue doing that for my current sway then. I also started counting calories and the caloric limit has been no issue for me. Is snacking a big sway factor because that is so hard for me.
