    Cheat days

What do your cheat days consist of. Trying not to have any but a work weekend away with cheese and wine tasting and dinners is going to be hard.
Mum to 3 lovely boys. 4HT cycles. Onto swaying.

I think it's just a case of going over your limits really. So you can still eat cheese wine and chocolate if u factor it in your daily amounts ( and also don't eat them constantly?!) as its meant to be a low fat diet .
I've seen lots of sways with a few cheats due to holidays etc ...just think we've got Xmas coming up !
It's going to be hard ! Xxx

You can do it either way, you can have a true cheat day or weekend where you have whatever you want with no restrictions, and while I know it feels scary, interestingly enough when you know you can have anything, sometimes you actually feel more satisfied eating than you do when you are trying to stick to diet. It is surprising but true - you actually end up eating less than you might think just focusing on what you really want.

OR, you can just try to do the doable, if you're having cheese and wine, have just that for dinner or a small salad. Don't have a t-bone steak with a potato and a salad and bread and then an hour later the cheese and wine and then an hour later a chocolate mousse.

I think the first option is better too. Many times I see people who go the second way, end up being "good" all day long (and kinda wrecking their fun whilst away) and then when it comes time for the cheese and wine, they eat wayyy too much of it and if only they'd just had 3 square meals they would have had way more willpower. Have a great time and do not think about swaying at all.

I also think I've seen atomic say before that cheat days can be beneficial to sway. Like more in line with occasionally finding a "big hunt."

And I think she's also said that if you are eating lower fat and protein that you were eating PRE sway that it's also all good even if you eat a bit more than the limits. I used to eat bacon all the time and 3 eggs for breakfast every morning. So I feel like even though I went over a lot, it was still better.

they're not necessarily beneficial in a biological sense, but that is why they can fit in with a low everything type of diet. Even our prehistoric ancestors occasionally had a feast day - it has to be the overall, day in and day out that matter and not the "now and then" eating. If diet of one day mattered, we'd only do diet for one day.

I do think cheat days help the sway from the psychological angle though because it helps you stick to the diet most of the time to not feel deprived, and secondly because it removes the "I have to go out wiht friends, what can I eat" anxiety/obsession that sends people online to find restaurant menus and calculating the lowest cal intake per meal - those are the types of "swaycession" issues that may really undermine your sway.
