    PCOS

Hi everyone! I'm new here and totally overwhelmed with all the info here!! We have 1 son who took us 2 years to conceive. I have PCOS, but really want to try to sway for a girl. I'm going to my dr tomorrow to discuss Clomid again.

My questions are, with PCOS apparently naturally swaying boy, do I really have a chance of getting a girl? What would you recommend as a good plan having PCOS and possibly using Clomid?

Hi and welcome . Yes clomid is a great idea for a girl sway. There is a special diet for swaying girl with PCOS. You will find it the thread called "swaying under special circumstances." Also exercise 60mins cardio in one block 4+ days a week. Ideally 6+ but as much as you can. Add one attempt and you have a great sway going right there
    Very blessed with

Thank you both! I went to the dr. She put me back on Metformin and added progesterone for my 2ww. No clomid yet. So I guess my swag attempt will be just diet (just started), lots of cardio, supplements of calcium, magnesium, cranberry, b6, and saw palmetto. I don't think I'm going to focus on timing since we had infertility with our first child. What do you think?

No B6! That's sways blue. And maybe give the cranberry to DH. It's a blood thinner + the results for DW have not been very good.
Calcium and magnesium if you really have to. Have a look for the essays on them and then decide maybe. That's the old school swaying advice from IG.
A fiber supp before any meals that contain fat. We have good results with that. And you are going to take just folic acid right?
Other than that sounds good . Good luck! I hope you get pregnant quickly and surprise yourself!

Oh gosh I thought b6 helped sway girl! Ok I'll stop taking that. I for sure need to look into the supplements again because I did get most of that from the IG forum before I found this website! And yes I'm on a Prenatal so there is folic acid in that.

Just wean off the prenatal and just take plain folic acid or folate coz there are so many nutrients in prenatals that sway blue.
I know it's totally confusing if you read IG and here coz we do things quite differently.

    Metformin

Hi Brook. Metformin may sway pink so that's good. Our PCOS diets are in this thread http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...rt-3-pcos.html You will need to be on one of htese and not standard LE

I saw this q in your PM and just wanted to stress that we get better results with at least 6 weeks on diet so my instinct would be for you to wait as long as it's ok with your family situation.

Cranberry is not safe for DW to take and I'd just give to DH instead.

NO B6. It boggles my mind anyone is still recommending that as it has been overwhelmingly blue-friendly. Not only for us but another one of the pay-for-diet $$ sway sites dropped it because they got such bad results with it. (plus it really can muck up a cycle which is not what you want) I got my 4th boy on 100 mg B6!

We get 80% blue with prenatals, I'd have you wean and use just folic acid/folate alone.
