I want to take a barre class, but I don't want to mess with my sway. Would barre be considered a good cardio exercise for a girl sway? It would ideally be an hour long, if not I would do an hour on the elliptical earlier in the day before barre.
Thanks!

Do you think it builds a lot of muscle?? I haven't ever taken one so I can't totally say.
If you did an hour on the elliptical you can add on anything because there's no way you could build muscle in that scenario.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I've done barre and it's more toning than cardio, from what I remember. Would probably do the elliptical first.

Defiantly, more toning. It's more of a Pilates, yoga, ballet blend of exercise.it creates more long and lean muscles so I would think it would be ok, esp. After cardio.

I took barre classes consistently when I conceived all 3 of my boys. For my girl sway, I started a barre break (missed it so much) for a total of 6 months and conceived a baby girl. I'm easing back into it now! Once I stopped, I definitely noticed a change in muscle tone, which sways girl.
