    Slowww weight loss!!

Just wondering if anyone thinks I'm doing the wrong diet, as in should I be doing the pcos diet.

I don't have any of the symptom of pcos, but my weight loss is extremely slow and is Mostly hovering at the same weight!

I am doing 60 mins cardio 6 days a week also.

Not sure if the white carb option is working for me and whether should try the alternative. I just don't know what else I could change?

Whenever I read of people losing too much weight, it just make me wonder why my weight loss remains static?!

How much do you have to lose? If it's a lot, I'd definitely switch to the PCOS diet.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

    Hiya,

My bmi is about 24.6 at the moment.

My original weight loss at the start (last July)was ok as I had been eating so badly after my holiday that some weight came off quickly. But since about September it has stayed pretty much the same.

I'm the kind of person who could literally starve for a week (obviously not doing anything like that at the moment!!) And loose 1lb.

I put on weight very easily, and have always had to be on low fat diets to stay the weight I am. Looking weight is soooo difficult.

Have read a bit about pcos diet, and although I've never had any of the symptoms, think I may have pcos tendancies??

I would switch to PCOS diet based on your tendencies. Just don't lose too much weight or too fast! Are you muscular?

You could have insulin resistance without having full PCOS. Probably worth changing to the PCOS diet.
