My light girl sway - feel free to make suggestions

So, I have been following the LE diet very loosely for about 6 weeks, the Christmas period really mucked me around though. However the flip side is I have indulged in lots of alcohol and low nutrient foods along the way!

I get one shot at this in Feb, as I have three children born in Dec/Jan my hubby has said no way are we having another born around that time, so if I don't conceive in Feb then we won't be able to resume trying until June, and to tell you the truth I'm worried DH will change his mind about another baby by then [emoji1]

So my diet looks like this:
    - No breakfast, no snacking
    - White bread salad sandwich for lunch
    - high carb dinner, usually pasta or potatoes with veggies (zuccini usually) a little protein (I haven't had the will power to go meat free)
    - no exercise whatsoever (I haven't been able to find the time or motivation lol)
    - lots of caffeine and coke zero and a fair bit of alcohol

I am currently on the Mirena with AF due 8th Feb. So I plan on having it removed around the 15th Feb, and then having my one shot at the first sign of a positive OPK. It's very hard for me to accept that dtd so close to ovulation is OK for a girl sway (as I conceived my girl 3 days before ovulation), but reading this site it seems clear it is OK and has more to do with frequency (which makes sense too, my boys were conceived by numerous attempts during O).

I will be using Sylk as I have low CM. I used preseed til the cows came home when I conceived my boys (not knowing it swayed blue) and I didn't use anything when I conceived my DD.

I am also thinking about taking baby aspirin up until O. Otherwise I don't have any other supplements I plan on taking. I could take antihistamines as I have a box of them in the cupboard but no one seems that keen on them anymore in here so I don't know if I'll bother?

Is there anything else I can do that is fairly easy to incorporate? Also is it OK to have full cream milk in my coffee? I don't have any dairy in my diet otherwise.

    Thanks [emoji8]

This is only based on what I've read here I'm by no means an expert) The mirena removed just prior to attempt, breakfast skipping, caffeine, alcohol and no snacking will be in your favour. Have you thought about getting DH to take olive leaf, peppermint tea and alcohol in weeks leading up to sway? Also I think one of the biggest sway factors would be dropping weight leading up to o and in 2ww......even if it is a pound or two. And try in-Martha-ing is letting go of control of things you'd ordinarily like to obsess over or control as much as possible. Good luck with your sway!

Only take peppermint tea if you are not taking saw palmeto and make sure you stop taking peppermint tea/SP the day before ovulation (incase it causes birth defects I think)

Wow! You are aiming for the same thing as I am - a second little girl to finish the family. Your sway looks really good, although I'm not sure that Atomic likes the use of antihistamines either. Maybe you could just have one on the day of your attempt? Also, I was advised against using Sylk and encouraged to use a tiny amount of preseed for my girl sway attempt (which I haven't done just yet), yet I see you used that last times and got your boys. How much did you use then? A lot? I'm not sure, but I think Sylk can cut your odds of conception? I'm sure Atomic will correct if any of my info is not accurate. Good luck. I hope you get your second girl, and me too.
2008 2010 2012 August 2015 at 10 weeks and CP June 2016 2019. My longed-for baby girl (DD2) arrived into the world safe and sound on 13th June 2019 . We named her Lucia Anna Catalina. I still can't believe she is here and often have to pinch myself. I am one VERY blessed Mumma. She also has a dimple like her big sister.

Thanks 1moregirl. When are you planning your sway attempt? I know what you're saying re: Sylk, but I'd almost rather use nothing than use preseed, it would make me so nervous to use it!!!

While normally I do recommend getting Mirena out right before TTC, I am actually kind of nervous that you may not ovulate till too late and miss Feb. all together. I realize the appt. is probably set by this point but just letting you know my concern.

Do you have nutrient totals? Remember, it isn't NO everything, it's low everything - you need 40-50 g protein and 30-60 g fat and I can't tell by your foods listed if you are doing that. Also, you need to NOT count the nutrients in things like zucchini so you need to be getting enough without the amounts in zuch. and similar low carb veg.

Just in case you haven't seen it, the scientific case against timing is here. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...le-timing.html Sometimes it helps to have it all laid out for you. I have 4 timing opposites so it is real easy for me to not believe in it. Ordinarily, I'd say that you could start off with giving it a try, but when you may only have a month, I really don't recommend doing timing as it cuts odds of conception.

Sylk and antihistamine both also cut odds of conception and in our results, appear to be totally neutral, with the same number of people getting girls both with and without them, the same % as the overall results of the site. Thus, I'd not have you use either of them. Sylk DOESN'T help with low CM. It's actually worse than nothing. If you do need a vaginal lubricant for comfy intercourse that is one thing and you can use a small amount, OR you could use a small amount of Preseed (small amounts appear neutral). A big glob of Sylk may prevent pregnancy for you especially when you don't ahve a whole lot of EWCM going on.

Baby aspirin is another thing that has been neutral results for us and the side effects and risks turned out to be a lot worse than we first anticipated, so I'd leave it out. Isn't working at all and riskeir than we like to see. If you MUST use it, no more than 3x a week, then at BFP gradually wean off it. (or BFN for that matter, don't stop it cold turkey)

I don't like you guys doing pep tea coming off hormonal BC because it seems to make it take a LOOONG time to ovulate (which would be a dealbreaker for you_
