I'm confused about whether eating soy products (eg those meat free soy burgers) is any good for swaying girl. I read that it's great for DH and he's been eating quite a lot of it. I had it in mind that soy is bad for us girls on the pink diet but I have no idea where I heard/dreamt that! Could anyone clarify? Thanks xx

They're fine in moderation. I wouldn't go crazy but I do think soy probably sways pink for women too.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

The old school sway sites like IG have soy down as blue friendly but when I interpret the data I find that very unlikely. Mind numbing detail in this thread http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...-girl-boy.html
Thus, I figure it's one of those things that I leave up to you guys, I allow moderate use but no more than that. Some people may find it reduces odds of conceiving and high intake may mess up cycles too so it just seems like a lot of conflicting info and bad juju.
Exception is thyroid patients who should avoid it unless okayed by a KNOWLEDGEABLE doctor. If your doctor acts like you are a lunatic for asking, get a second opinion. It's a documented interaction and may mess up people's thyroids.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
